This is a great lamp that would fit any decor. The base is heavy and in cream color (the photos make it look more white). The shade is plain white; doesn't have any patterns when the light is on or off. It comes in a well-padded box, and putting it together takes about 5-7 minutes. The lamp shade is good quality but plain white and pretty basic. It could easily be changed out for something to match your decor. It came very well packed and there was no damage.
