So far so good!! We've used the machine twice and it worked as described (maybe better). Enjoyed the margaritas. When we removed from the box we thought the stir paddle was missing. However, upon looking further at the styrofoam packing, the paddle was in a slot on the back of the styrofoam. This weekend plan to try it for making milkshakes. Purchased the green option....looks very nostalgic. Also, easy to clean. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend.

This is the biggest waist of money purchased to date! It doesn’t shave ice, the gears grind and halt. When it does work it shaves the tiniest pieces of ice and then stops and gets jammed again within seconds! Horrible, terrible product!

Reading the negative reviews made me somehow hesitant to purchase this item. Decided to give it a try anyhow, and so glad I did. This is not a professional slush maker, so if one expects the quality of a machine priced at well above 1K, then one must have his or her head examined. This is an inexpensive ... but very good looking home version, that need a little imagination to bring a satisfying end result. Combined with an inexpensive (in the same price range) food blender it is a real winner. To give an example: my first Pina Colada, did not come exactly as expected ... but after mixing the entire drink in a blender for 3 seconds ... voila ... the drink was perfect! The blender by itself won't do the trick, as it always leave the alcohol on the bottom of the glass in a matter of minutes.

Very nice device.easy to use. Does what it says it will do. I deducted a star for a few but minor reasons which are loudness, speed and need to use unfused ice. For the price it is an excellent machine. it is a bit loud compared to other brands, but it is a lot more user friendly. The only big issue is that you have to make sure the ice you put in has not fused. Say for example you got some ice from you local hardware shop and put it back in the fridge, sometimes ice cubes will fuse and if you dont notice it and put it in the ice machine it jam. also the amount of ice you can put in at a given time is very limited. Which means you have to stay by the machine to add more ice for a single serving. Again there are a few things this machine lacks compared to other brands but for the occasional user and price this is an excellent device. If you are looking to use it at a bar, it is not good. For the occasional drink it is excellent. Do i recommend this yes for the price it is excellent.

Final Update: Mixing paddle arrived today. Product works great with the mixing paddle! 5 stars. :) Update: I called their support line and they are shipping a new paddle for the device. Once that arrives I'll update again, but their support was very prompt and concerned about the issue. If you don't get your mixing paddle in the box, call their support line and they will send one to you at no cost. Excellent customer service with no hassles. Will update again in a few days once I receive it and can use the product. Keeping the product instead of returning it. :) Original: I opened the box expecting to be able to use the product. Without the stirring module inside the bowl, the device won't mix and that's it's only purpose other than shaving ice. They're sold out of the stirring modules on their website so I can't even buy a replacement. Extremely disappointed and sending it back to Amazon.
