I bought this on a whim for my two young daughters to "help make dinner". It is an extremely easy set up. Filtered water goes into the bottom most tray just below the MAX line, then hot dogs or polish sausages in the next tray, followed by your choice of bun in the final tray. You simply plug in and set the turn knob to "High". Fifteen minutes later you have a meal any stadium would be proud to serve. It's simple and easy to clean up. So far we have tried various hot dog brands as well as the larger Polish sausages. I'd have to say the Polish sausages with a sweet (Hawaiian bread or simply Sweet) hot dog bun our the favorite. You don't even need mustard or any other condiment to accompany these dogs. They are perfect from tray to bun to mouth as is. I am VERY impressed at the simplicity and taste. Easiest and best way to cook Hot Dogs, steam buns. They absolutely taste amazing, I prepared 64 hot dogs for an event in a matter of an hour. I love this product.

Oh my gosh! What did I ever do without this? This are 5 parts to this. The base, which is the heating part holds a small amount of water. About half of a cup or a little more. There is a small disc that is the waters heating element. Then the drawer. This holds a lot of hot dogs. The long ones would have to be turned sideways. Above the hot dogs is a rack to warm your buns on. I have to admit, I don't think there is that much room for buns, by the time I would put the lid on the lid wouldn't stay on securely. Everything is of plastic. The sign on the lid you have to put on yourself. I adore the bright yellow and red colors. The size is compact but mighty. They are stickers. Now, why I like this so very much is, it doesn't take long. Thin or fat hotdogs. I have even tried a Keilbasa in this. It didnt take long to cook. The best I ever had! This is a great buy. Great little cute gift for someone in college or newlyweds. So quick and easy to clean up. Great buy! ... show more

Okay, it's cute with the pepper shaped handles and all, but it works great. It is easy to clean and I think the upper space is great. The space is big enough to hold a good sized dish making it easy to heat the tamales and some chili or other sauce all at one time. ..are there faster ways to get the dog done, yes there are..but this thing is fun to use..couple things to remember..put the buns in just a few minutes before you need them to keep them from getting soggy and they will come out soft and warm..and use distilled water..I use distilled water in my coffee pot and have never had to descale it..just keep an eye on the water level as it burns off fairly fast..enjoy ... show more
