This product has literally changed my life! I am renting a house in Mexico and the environment here is tropical and very beautiful! I thought I could live peacefully with the scorpions until I got stung, along with my dog. There are many types of scorpions. This one was extremely painful and it was also so painful for my dog that he had respiratory distress that night. That is when the war path began. A friend recommended this product to me. You can control the creepy crawly critters that wake up at night and crawl under doors into your home. I place the traps strategically in our bedrooms and kitchen. I have eliminated any infestation within the home and I can tell when there is a new outburst of critters outside because the traps begin to capture them inside. I have captured centipedes, 40 manos, spiders and scorpions. For ants I use a different method because they will fill up the sticky traps so fast that you spend way to much money. I'm living in a tropical jungle and I feel I have gained control within my home because of the sticky traps. I don't like to fumigate inside and I don't need to anymore. My dog did go behind a chair that he never goes behind and got the sticky trap stuck to his back leg. It was very easy to remove with scissors. But clearly with pets you have to place the traps where you pets won't go With this product I literally sleep better at night and feel like my family and my pets are safer. I would give this product a million star review if I could!

They work and I share 1 with my neighbors as a welcome to the neighborhood. I tell them that most of the time when someone moves out of a unit pest becomes a viisable problem in the occupided units so these work as early warning signs that someone is not keeping up with they're sanitation. You have something you can show and it can be identified and dealt with appropriately and in timely manner. Plus they go right with the rest of the trash no fuss just trust you'll like not imagining it's a bug.

These are my new favorite. I was TIRED of having constant anxiety about stupid waterbugs jumping out at me from old farmhouse cabinets (those of you that don't live in the south don't know the horror). No matter how clean your house is, and how many cracks you patch or holes you plug, they will figure out how to get in, typically when you are smack in the middle of serving dinner to guests. These little pads come 4 to a sheet and are perforated, so little mini patches rip off easily. You remove the adhesive and set wherever (it's nice there is a non-sticky perimeter to grab on to for this. I love the small size so it's easy to stick in a corner without taking up a bunch of real-estate. Apparently has some sort of scent that draws them....it must, because this WORKS. I keep them now in the hot-spots (one under the microwave, one in the corner of the most-offending cabinet, and in the garbage drawer). If there is one to be caught, this will get it. Easy disposal because you can just place a paper towel on top, and it will adhere to towel for you to pick up without touching it and toss it. It's a small pad so if I look and it's not where I left it, it means it caught a big one who was able to flop it out of position (yuck). When I first started using them I was catching 2-3 a day, now it's down to maybe 2 a week, so it's also reducing the population. I haven't had a single 'surprise' attack or out-in-the-open siting of a waterbug since I started using these. Spiders, roaches etc were not a problem for us, and we've never caught one of them, so I can't speak to how it attracts other bugs. Mom pro tip: Offer your kids $$ for every time they 'catch and dispose' of a bug on one of these, and you'll end up with kids eagerly checking traps daily so you never have to deal with even that again.

I bought the MaxGuard Mini Glue Traps hoping the “extra sticky” glue and “fruity pre‑baited scent” would actually attract something. Unfortunately, these traps were a complete disappointment. They’re non‑toxic and easy to set up, but that’s about where the positives end. The biggest issue is simple: they don’t attract anything. Not only did the traps fail to catch a single bug, it genuinely seemed like insects were avoiding them altogether. I placed them in multiple spots where I normally see activity, and still nothing. The “fruity” bait doesn’t seem to do anything at all. With so many traps in the box, I really hoped at least a few would work, but after trying them in different areas, it’s clear they’re just not effective. Save your money. These are not worth it. Avoid these like the bugs do.

I've gotten 3 different types of sticky traps (fly paper rolls, a Zevo light trap, and these sticky rectangle pad traps) to try and cut down on the number of phorid flies in my aparment. It seems like there is an infestation in the building or nearby and they are entering my apartment. The cheap paper rolls and the Zevo trap are very effective and end up covered with these terrible small flies. I was surprised that none had been trapped by these pads, since they do appear very sticky and I had put them in strategic locations. I ended up watching a phorid fly hop on one of these, and it got away. It looks like these traps aren't sticky enough for these bugs and that's why none had been trapped. That said, I'm sure they would be effective for different and larger insect species. Please don't use these on rodents and snakes. It's just such a terrible, long death and there are so many traps that are more humane than these.
