Easy to use and one of the best products for controlling mealmoths and other insects. We use these products in combination with Ortho Defense. Despite freezing birdseed and other pet foods purchased from seed and feed businesses, which have been stored in uncontrolled warehouses prior to shipping to us, we have had mealmoths. This product has a pheromone attractant, combined with a sticky type adhesive. Insects are attracted to the pheromones, getting too close to the glue and end up being trapped on the glue board. We do not place traps where our smaller pets can come in contact with the boards, keeping the traps assembled as directed and well out of reach.     • Do Not Buy! Bugs Avoid These Completely!
I bought the MaxGuard Mini Glue Traps hoping the “extra sticky” glue and “fruity pre‑baited scent” would actually attract something. Unfortunately, these traps were a complete disappointment. They’re non‑toxic and easy to set up, but that’s about where the positives end. The biggest issue is simple: they don’t attract anything. Not only did the traps fail to catch a single bug, it genuinely seemed like insects were avoiding them altogether. I placed them in multiple spots where I normally see activity, and still nothing. The “fruity” bait doesn’t seem to do anything at all. With so many traps in the box, I really hoped at least a few would work, but after trying them in different areas, it’s clear they’re just not effective. Save your money. These are not worth it. We literally just got these delivered and placed them around an hour ago. I stuck some poison on top. I just heard a mouse squeaking and thrashing around in the cabinet. And this is coming from mice who avoid mouse traps. So 1000/10 recommend.
