This Warmwell blanket was a perfect additional layer for winter. I ordered the lunar rock grey in a king size. I am pleased with its large size. It hangs over the bed with plenty of excess on each side, which can be hard to find with king size blankets. The blanket is super soft and has a nice silver like grey color. My house has a ton of fleece blankets, throw blankets, etc. These tend to get piled up and cycled through as they're used over the years; sometimes the kids ruin them, sometimes they end up being given to the dogs as bedding-- they're something of an evergreen item in our house. This blanket immediately impressed me when I opened the package. It was far larger than I expected, which is notable-- the majority of throw blankets you'll find end up being too small-- and it's thicker than the typical option you'll find. We used it as a cover for our comforter and as a blanket for the couch while we watched movies. This thing is noticeably warm, to the point that we had to remove it from on top of our comforter (you might be able to use it as one). As a blanket for the living room, for a cold wife or girlfriend? Couldn't be more perfect, as an incredibly soft fabric and generous amount of space would cover most couches and allow you to share one blanket (and get rid of the pile you might have sitting in a closet or corner of the room). There really isn't much you can say about a blanket, but the feel and size really make this one stand out. This Northwest Ashford Home Essentials Cozy Faux Fur Warmwell throw blanket definitely gets high marks for being soft and cozy. The 108" x 90" size is large enough to be used as a bed blanket on a king size bed, which is how we are using it. We had a different blanket of a similar material but thicker, and it made us too hot at night. This one is a perfect weight/thickness to use on a bed along with a sheet and comforter. I washed it before we started using it according to the directions (cold wash, low dry) and it came out beautifully. I was impressed at the very low amount of dryer lint in the lint trap after it was done drying. I had expected it would shed quite a bit of lint and there was barely any at all.
