  • Great purchase.
Color: Blue & Black
Really really helpful after knee surgery. Steady, secure and secure. Resting brakes and hand brakes are efficient and effective, even when walking up or down slight inclines. Comfortable when you need a rest and easier to get up from than some chairs. Rolls smoothly even over Little Rock’s and bumps. Seat houses a couple little pouches to thrown keys or money into. Nicely done. ... show more

  • Rugged and safe
Color: Black
I bought this for my 94-year-old father. He recently moved into assisted living. He'd been using one of those inexpensive front-wheel aluminum walkers with a pair of tennis balls on the back to act as skids. He's mentally sharp as a tack but has difficulty walking, especially with losing stamina. He can only walk a few dozen feet before he needs a break and is hunting for a chair. One morning at breakfast I saw this walker parked outside the dining room, and I was very impressed with how rugged and well made it looked. So, I snapped a photo of it and did a Google image search to find it. This walker has made a world of difference for him. He's out and zipping around the building a lot more. He uses the seat to take breaks when he's tired, and the seat doubles as a table if he needs to carry something. We reviewed the "correct" way to use a rollator-walker to ensure he was safe. I found a really good video on Youtube called "How to use a walker with a seat the RIGHT way". It's by "Your PT Guy". I highly recommend it. He's funny, and he goes over everything you need to know not to get hurt. I think the only negatives I have for this rollator are that it is heavy and awkward to lift when folded. To fold it, lift the handle on the underside of the seat, and the frame folds together with the front and rear wheels coming together. It's like a folding dining chair. The handles also fold inward. But it's still big and kind of awkward. This is more an issue for me or whoever he is traveling with, not so much for him, as he will never lift it into a trunk. I don't mind, but I could see an older, petite woman struggling with it. Another thing I like is that the wheels are solid rubber. That, combined with the weight of it, helps it hold position on the floor when the parking breaks are engaged. Again, this makes it feel safer and more stable. ... show more

  • Sturdy and Stable
Color: Black
I bought this walker for my fiancee who has trouble balancing and walking. We received it quickly and it is very easy to assemble. The directions are pretty clear and each wheel has a colored dot that you match to the colored dot on the Walker frame making assembly even easier. I'm going to list the Pros and Things to Consider (So far there are no cons) Pros: - Heavy-duty. The frame, seat, wheels and brake handles are all well built and sturdy. No worries of anything bending or snapping. - Stable. This is (in my opinion) a heavier in weight than most other walkers. It's also wider at the base, just under 27" wide at the rear wheels. The weight plus the wider stance makes this a stable walker. The old walker was lighter and narrower. It would sometimes tip over if you hit a small rock or bump. This walker is a beast and hasn't tipped over once, no matter what it hits. Wheels - It has 8" wheels which is night and day compared to the old walker that had 6" wheels. They are a softish rubber. The walker is quiet on tile and the rubber wheels don't pick up pebbles or dirt from outdoors. You should be safe going outside and coming back in without tracking in dirt. Brakes - The breaks work great. I think because of the 8" wheels it has more grip when you apply the breaks. Even on dirt, my fiancee has much better control going down slight inclines because the breaks actually help in control. Outdoors - The walker does great on dirt and grass. It's also great on uneven terrain. Seat - The seat is well mounted and is sturdy. Its larger than most walker seats, I believe its 16" wide with 2" of cushion. Step In. The step in feature is great. The seat lifts up and the storage bag slides forward giving you room to step in closer to the cabinets. Note: This will depend on how much you have in the storage bag. If its full, it may not close enough to appreciate the step in feature. Easy to Fold. You can fold the walker by sliding the two yellow sections down and lifting up on the handle under the seat. Traveling. If you reverse the assembly instructions, you can fit the walker into a large suitcase. Disassembled, you will need approximately 20" x 22" x 9" of space. Things to Consider: - Weight. This walker is heavier than most other walkers. (17lbs). However, it makes it very sturdy for those that need assistance for balancing as well as walking. It may be difficult for some to lift to get up steps or curbs. - Width. The widest part of the walker is the rear wheels measuring in at just under 27". It fits in standard doorways, BUT please measure your doorways to be safe. Some older homes and manufactured homes have smaller doorways that might pose a problem. Last Note: My fiancee is 4'11". With the handlebars and wheels at their lowest level, it is a perfect height for her. We would recommend this walker to most anyone. The only two major things to consider is the weight and width. ... show more

  • Great Rollator that can improved
Color: Black
Many features for the price. It is adjustable, reversible seat, large under seat storage, and 8 inch wheels. I only gave it a 4 because of a few issues. Assembly was easy except for a brake handle assembly part that was loose in the box. the other one was fine. A call to the 800 Help Desk was helpful. The storage bag / seat bag access release lever does not properly set over half the time without a strong and deliberate push. Folding the Rollator is difficult due to the seat latching issue above. Also the cup holder needs to be about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wider so it can hold an average sized sport container. ... show more

  • Perfect for little tiny 92 year old
Color: Blue & Black
I’ve been searching for a good walker/rolator for my 92 year old mom who has been in and out of the hospital. She needed to build up her exercise, stamina and balance. But she wanted something she could use that would have a seat for resting. This fits the bill perfectly. It has given her mobility, stamina, and confidence. Her balance and endurance has improved. She went from sitting in a chair all day and getting more and more stationary to walking about 0.25 miles a day, every few days. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s regular, and builds her confidence and balance. One caveat: this is NOT a walker. It has wheels on all ground contact points. It’s not like a walker where the wheels are only on two legs. So this rolator can quickly get away from the user, risking a fall, if they don’t learn to use the brakes. Very important to practice with the user. But since there is slightly less control (meaning more freedom) the user builds stamina, balance, and confidence. It’s worked wonders for my mom and increased my independence since I don’t have to be home all the time to care for her… The build on this is strong, and sturdy, fully adjustable for big people down to little tiny people like my mom. The wheels are 8” which allows it to motivate over most bumps on a sidewalk or lawn. Some assembly is required. I would recommend that be done by someone with good reading ability and patience. It’s not hard to do, but some other reviews indicate that the unit was assembled incorrectly. The unit is not feather light, but that aids stability. That being said, I can lift and fold it with one hand, and put it into the car with ease (and I never go to the gym). ... show more

  • A well built walker for a very reasonable price!
Color: Black
My 82 year old Mom already has a Drive Medical Nitro Rollator Walker that she uses inside of her home, but we wanted to get her a second walker for use outside of the home in order to keep her Nitro unit clean. This Medline walker was priced right and had a coupon as well, so based upon the good reviews we purchased one. It arrived well packaged and undamaged, and all of the wheels and handgrips were wrapped in separate plastic bags to protect them during shipping. The instructions were clear, but all I really needed for assembly was the picture as all of the non-attached components were color-coded so they would not be mixed up. After assembly I had Mom test drive it and she was very impressed. The wheels are slightly smaller than the Nitro unit, but they are still big enough for stability while going over uneven ground. The brakes work well and the walker has a solid feel to it. I like the padded seat and drink holder features that her more expensive Nitro doesn't have. The only downside is that when folding the unit for transport the handle under the seat doesn't always fold the unit and will lift the seat up instead. But overall I'm quite impressed with the quality of this walker for the very reasonable price and I would buy it again. ... show more

  • It's okay
Color: Blue & Black
It's not quite what I expected, but it will do. The cons: -Day-glo yellow everywhere (although you can swap the bolts with black ones if you already have a rollator--they'll probably fit). -The mechanism for folding the handles in is cumbersome. You have to grasp the large yellow mechanism and pull down to release the latch, but the angle and height of the mechanism makes that difficult to do. -It is heavier than you think it will be. My larger heavy-duty Guardian rollator is lighter. -The seat is narrow, but the back wheels are wide so you can't get it through smaller doors. -I seems a little flimsy, compared to my old rollator (which is much too large, but very sturdy). Pros -The blue is a nice color. -The under-seat storage is handy and the little removable carrier fits quite a lot--unfortunately, it isn't centered, so you have to be careful to make sure the seat is locked down and the pouch isn't obstructing the lock on the left side of the seat. -I like the cup holder, although it sticks out enough that the rollator won't fit through anything but large doorways. For me, it's okay. There are restaurants in the building where I work and I can now get a glass of tea or pop and take it back to my office. Before, I had to either pay more for a bottle of pop or tea or bring my own from home. I don't need the cup holder at home, so it's not a problem. -If you fit on the seat, it's comfortable--more comfortable than other rollators. -I LOVE that you can change the direction of the back so that you can sit in the "back" of the rollator (with the handles behind you) and it allows you to get close to a desk or table. This is especially helpful for tall people like me who are constantly faced with chairs that are too low in restaurants or meeting rooms. You should never fold it from the font--it folds very easily and fast and could pull someone down with it. Folding it from the back is a breeze. If you stand behind it and lift it by the yellow handle, it's easy to lift and won't open. Opening takes a little getting used to and once you figure it out, it opens very fast. The wheels also move very easily, so you must put on the brakes before sitting. In my old rollator, the wheels weren't as movable and I usually started to sit and then moved the rollator under me. Can't do that with this one. You'll end up on the floor. Other than not being sure how durable it's going to be, this is an adequate rollator. I was expecting much more functionality. It's not all that easy to reach a counter when you've folded up the seat, but it is a lot easier than an unfoldable rollator. And, unfortunately, the width between the posts, while just large enough to allow a large person to sit, are not far enough apart to make it easy to walk "inside" the rollator with the seat up. I expected more. I'm disappointed, but it will do. ... show more

Color: Blue & Black
Phenomenal walker. I can't say enough about it as a family member caring for their parent. Large enough wheels for stability but not too large for it to be overkill. Great storage options. All features adjustable including wheel length, arm length and push pads. Seat is very comfortable. This walker is foldable and easy to transport. Seat pops up so you can use it to stand at counters easily. My mother has Parkinson's and we have been searching for solutions for her as her disease progresses. This is the solution. Very stable and customizable. ... show more
