I like the quality and the Honda engine always starts on first crank. The unit itself tends to be very heavy and a bit difficult to move around on the wheels because of the weight. ( Im 6 foot and 210 pounds) and still found it to be a bit heavy, but I guess it represents quality in the materials used to build it. Showed up on time and in good shape. For some reason it’s just sitting in the box on the pallet with nothing holding it down, I can see that going bad on some deliveries. Ran it for break in and noticed it wasn’t idling up and down. Check out my pics, the small plastic clip the throttle linkage retainer seemed to be upside down and every time it went to idle up or down it would pop out. I swapped that upside down from factory and that fixed my issue. In my pic it’s been swapped. Then I put a small piece of rubber between the throttle valve and the gas tank. It was already digging into the tank pretty bad and I’d imagine it would wear a hole in the tank pretty quick when running. After those two fixes I had 0 issues after running it for around 20 hrs straight blowing sprinklers out. I didn’t have issues with the plastic throttle tube like some had and I inspected it after running the 20 hrs and it shows no signs of failing.

I have owned it for 2 months. I knew i would be modifying the base of the tank to fit in my service truck, so i had to completely disassemble the unit to weld on my mounts. I am glad I did, as it needed some work right away. One of the fittings wasn't installed properly and I immediately needed to repair it for proper operation. The vinyl/plastic tubing is not durable enough and I will be upgrading to copper lines soon. All in all, it's a good unit. I think they could have taken more time to assemble it. Shipping was a nightmare and they were not very helpful after my credit card was charged. I would probably but it again if I needed another one.

We had our last air compressor for over 25 years. We use them to run a small company. They are mounted in our company trucks and it is important that they are dependable. Really didn't know what to expect when ordering this new one online,. It has exceeded our expectations. We love it. even though we went from a 30 gallon tank down to a 20 gallon tank it still seems to work even better than the 30 gallon.

This thing is a total piece of sht. The honda engine on this thing hardly ever starts even after 20 pulls with correct settings. Had to take it to the shop and was told there wasn’t enough oil in the engine. Now im pretty sure anyone knows how to fill a small engine with oil up to the neck of any machine not rocket science right? I think the warranty place i brought it to didnt want to honor the warranty obviously. Ok so i get it home and it starts after a few pulls no more problems. Well after awhile i go to start it up again and what do you know it doesn’t start. By this time im really getting pissed off at this well piece of sht. By this time its out of warranty to im thinking i can let it sit around and trip. Over it from time to time or.......(light bulb moment) i can throw this thing down the side of the mountain i live on ( my property) guess what i chose to do?

It has 1/2" NPT tank port for air inlet from compressor which is 1/2" copper line that seems adequate for a unit with this CFM...and I intend to use it with 1/2" x 100 ft air hose with 3/8" quick connects. However, the other two tank ports are only 1/4" NPT, like for a wimpy electric compressor. One is used for gage, which is OK. The other small tank port becomes the discharge that feeds tool...so they used a wimpy 1/4" regulator along with similar pipe fittings, and a 1/4" hose quick connect. I know someone will tell you that the pressure drop of these small fittings/regulator is "not significant"...but, hey, I bought this big unit because I wanted the most air possible...not just "adequate". This also becomes a mechanical problem...the small fittings look fragile, and note that they are the only connection between your 200 lb workmen and your 200 lb compressor. In my opinion, 1/2" NPT outlet fittings should have been used for more air, and more strength!

attention to semi truckers ,order a 1 1/2 to 1/2 outlet Bushing ,take out that 1 1/2 plug on the side and you will have a 1/2 outlet which when i take it down to yard to see if it has enough power to take the wheels off,it was like spreading butter on a toast easy,check out the pictures,also material looks and feels high quality and yes delivery comes with a big truck you may have arrange a time and place to pick it up,here is the link for that bushing,also you may wanna add a 1/2 air dryer (really helps when there is a freezing weather)which they have it in amazon website,and only reason im leaving this comments here ,because i had to take a chance ordering this not knowing if this is gonna be working out for a truck repair,well yes it does. update (September 2015) im very happy with it,done many repairs changed many truck tires to this date and starts every time, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006PKMJJO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WI5YPC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
