OH, I absolutely love this treadmill. It has so many features and works so nicely. I had one before and it was noisy and did not have as many options for incline or for changing speed as this one does. Also the screen is easy to read and easy to use!! I love this machine. It has a wide belt so I don't feel like I am about to fall off or over! It has great handles so I can grab on if I am stretching. It has a nice base to pick up if I need to, and in my garage I often have to blow out the leaves so it makes it easy to clean around it! I love the fan, nice to have a cool breeze on the evenings when it is sweaty hot in my garage and I am running. Or, when I pick up the pace and need to feel cool doing it. It is slow sometimes at changing but always responds and never sticks. Love this machine. Did I say that already? Oh, great value for the money. The quality of this treadmill is superb! I feel like it can handle a lot of use, and it has! Does everything it is supposed to and it is easy to use and the display is easy to see, especially when I change to the IFit trainers the screen is wide and clear.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill with iFIT This is a five-month review of NordicTrack commercial 1750. I watched many videos and read many reviews and this treadmill is the one I ended up with. It's probably more than I need but I'm very impressed with it. I use it every day, 45 minutes in the morning before breakfast. I'm not a runner but I do slow jog. I had both knees replaced a few years ago, so I try not to be too aggressive. The display is very impressive it gives you all the data and information that you need even a little track that on the display. It has a blower that I like some people don't like it, but it is powerful and quiet. The control on machine is easy to get to and I can say I haven't had any issues with any of that. One other thing I was able to pair my Samsung watch with my heart rate Bluetooth to this machine to have it on the display you just must download the ifit app. I ordered it through Amazon at $1799.00 plus free shipping with prime account when it was on sale. In a few days it came to the house this thing is huge and weighs over 300 pound the two individuals who unloaded took it upstairs for me and placed the box in a room. I wouldn't say they would do that for everybody, but they were both two great guys and I compensated them. I then purchased the assembly through Amazon not that I couldn't do it but with this kind of money and expense I did what any mistakes. The individual came took him about three hours by himself and I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to get it up and running. I like its wide deck, with its cushion deck is easy to walk and jog on for me and doesn't shake the floor I was worried about that being upstairs. Now as far as subscribing to iFit I did not need that, I don't need any motivation for me so I put a big screen TV in front of it and that has worked out well better than I expected. So, to sum this up if I were going to do it again so far, I would buy the same unit it is big it is heavy but so far, it has done Excellent.

I was really excited to purchase this treadmill after being an iFIT user for so many years and wanting a treadmill that was compatible rather than having to continue using my iPad. Unfortunately, the treadmill did not work correctly when I received it. I was able to log into my account but was unable to adjust the speed except in full increments as the manual buttons caused every program to stop. This meant I could either take it easy or push myself hard, but slow progression was not an option. We were on with the Nordic track customer service department for almost 2 hours to problem solve and finally get approved for repair. I do appreciate that they sent the part with no charge and contracted a repair person to fix it. Apparently this is a known issue with this treadmill, which makes it even more frustrating. Now that it’s fixed it works well and is a great treadmill overall. Probably not worth the price though. Update: a month later and there is another issue requiring a technician to come back. Now the speakers have stopped working. Looks like the connections are loose so they are having to replace the entire panel. Unless you enjoy using your treadmill for months as an over sized paper weight while you wait for parts and a repair person. Skip Nordic Trak and find another brand.

Great treadmill and excellent workout experience! I’ve been using this treadmill consistently and I’m very happy with my purchase. The treadmill feels solid, smooth, and comfortable to use, and I really like having different workout options to keep things interesting. The iFIT integration is one of my favorite features. The variety of workouts, trainers, and locations makes exercising much more enjoyable and helps me stay motivated. I especially like being able to follow structured workouts instead of having to create my own routine every time. The treadmill has also been great for gradually increasing the intensity of my workouts. Whether I want to walk, jog, or challenge myself with inclines, it gives me plenty of options. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the treadmill. It has become an important part of my exercise routine, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality treadmill for home use.

I’ve had my treadmill for three months, and have some detailed thoughts to share. I’m an on-again and off-again runner who has run a few half marathons. I bought this treadmill to stay more consistent by being able to run when the weather is not conducive to running. Delivery, Unpacking, Assembly I purchased from Amazon directly, since it was slightly cheaper than on the NordicTrack website. The price difference was negligible, so I don’t think it would matter much where you bought it from. It came in one large box, and the delivery courier helped me get it into my garage. The box is very heavy (300+ pounds) so it took us 3 adults to move it down stairs to my basement. Normally I would have unboxed it before moving to make it easier, but the main deck is the lion’s share of the weight and wouldn’t be protected in movement. It’s well packed, but know that means a LOT of waste packing materials, much of it styrofoam - well more than can fit in a single curbside waste barrel. In total, just unboxing it took me well over an hour. Assembly was straight-forward but not fast. I’m very handy, but still spent 3 hours assembling. Instructions are very clear, and the provided tools are higher quality and more ergonomic than I expected. Running Experience A major advantage of the heavy weight is that the treadmill is very solid. I’m 6’4 and 190 lbs, so it’s common for non-gym treadmills to feel flimsy. This one doesn’t at all. The running bed has a very nice balance of give: absorbing just enough of my impact to make the workouts easier on my joints without feeling like I’m running on a mattress. The motor is responsive, spinning up and down quickly but smoothly. Grade changes are fast enough, and the 12% max incline is good enough for my needs. At very low walking speeds (less than 3 mph) the motor is noticeably affected by the friction from my weight. Reading about others’ experiences I believe that this is normal, but makes me worry a bit about the stress being put on the motor. At 3+ MPH this issue goes away. Sometimes the bed makes a minor squeaking noise with my footfalls. The issue goes away when the incline adjusts. My guess is that there is something rubbing in the mechanism that provides cushioning. It’s not distracting or loud, but makes me ever-so-slightly nervous. The running bed is quite big, which is great for my long stride. There is plenty of room to move laterally too, if you’re a runner that doesn’t always track perfectly straight. Controls The speed, incline, and fan can be controlled from physical buttons on the machine and on the touch screen. The physical controls are flush under a single piece of plastic that spans the entire cockpit. They are difficult to see in low light or when there is glare on the plastic, and because it’s smooth plastic you can’t find them by feel. There is no tactile feedback when you press the buttons so you have to rely on watching the changes reflected on the screen. The touch-screen is pretty responsive, but it’s difficult to land good ‘clicks’ when at a running pace. In general this is one of the bigger weaknesses of the product, and one that seems pretty easy to fix with better markings and tactile controls. iFIT I’ve run on lots of treadmills, with various programs and software interfaces meant to make it engaging. I’ve done lots of instructor led Peloton rides. I’ve found them to be a mixed bag and the last thing I wanted was another subscription. But it’s a new device and several reviews recommended using iFIT so I gave it a shot, with low expectations. It is FANTASTIC. I can’t say I like all the trainers, but I like most of them and you can probably find several good options to fit your preferences. The trail runs are beautiful, and provide something to look at instead of the clock. The trainers that I’ve liked give interesting facts, good reminders (without nagging), and the programs have been truly transformative to my running. Between the equipment, the pacing/mix of the runs, and the advice from the trainers I’m able to run twice as often as I was before. The runs feel easier, and I’ve seen steady improvement in my pace and endurance. My wife and son have their own accounts and are using their own programs, all which is included in the subscription. I can’t overstate how much I’m getting out of this - In the past I would tolerate my treadmill runs, and now they have become the best part of my day, and that’s 99% due to iFIT. It’s worth noting that this has made me wish I bought the model with the bigger screen: The 16” screen is really good, but I enjoy the scenery so much and I’m working out more than I expected so I know I’d appreciate the 24” screen. ActivePulse I overlooked this feature in my research before buying. Simply put, it adjusts the intensity of your workouts to keep you in an appropriate heart rate zone. For the instructor led workouts this will vary throughout the workout. Mostly my workouts have been a mix of zone 2 and zone 3. It is apparently making use of machine learning to anticipate the impact of changes in speed and include on my heart rate. It’s very useful, and really keeps me from over-doing it on my runs. It took a little while to adjust to my specific response, so the first few runs with it led to some exaggerated adjustments. You can put a max speed on the system to keep it from getting out of hand, which I recommend. This all requires that you have a bluetooth heart rate monitor (ANT+ does not work). I bought a cheap arm band that works great. Software Quality I’ve seen a few quality issues that are annoying but workable: * Early on, after a workout the system didn’t fully recover to its starting state - as if the workout was still in progress - so I couldn’t start new activities. This has stopped happening after an update. * Early on, syncing my workouts to Strava resulted in a duplicate Strava workouts. This hasn’t happened recently, but I’ve seen lots of other people complain about this in forums. * The pairing of the heart rate monitor is supposed to enable new metrics and ActivePulse. Sometimes that just doesn’t happen, even after re-pairing. * My heart rate zones sometimes resets to the age-based defaults after I restart the machine, so I have to re-enter my resting and max heart rate. Pet-peeve The machine has built in support for a few services: Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime are the ones I use. Using these services requires an iFIT subscription - effectively meaning you need to have a subscription to use your subscription. I find that infuriating and exploitative. There’s no secure place to put a tablet, so you’ll need to rig something up if you plan to use another device to consumer your media. There IS a handy USB-C port on the side of the screen that you can use to power a device. In conclusion: It's not perfect, but I highly recommend the device and the iFIT service.

I absolutely love my NordicTrack treadmill! It’s incredibly easy to use and makes getting a workout in at home so convenient. The cushioning is excellent and makes running and walking feel comfortable without putting strain on my back. It feels sturdy, smooth, and high-quality without being overly complicated. I’m so happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great treadmill for home workouts!

Initial review - I'll give a 6 month update later. Delivery - no issues, a contracted delivery service dropped off the treadmill ahead of schedule. Weight - it's pretty heavy with all the parts in the box... treadmill base, arms, monitor, packing material, wooden supports on the inside of the box. We used a couple of furniture dollies to move it around to where we wanted to start the assembly. I recommend unpacking it close to where you want to use it. Once all the parts are out of the box, the actual treadmill base is still heavy but manageable with two people. My wife and I are 53 and not in the best shape but we were able to mange moving it to it's Permanente location. Assembly - Easy with two people, there are 4 bolts per arm for the uprights, feeding the power connecting cable for the monitor was a breeze with the pull wire already in place and ready to go. Keep the bolts somewhat loose as this help when attaching the monitor base. There are a couple more screws to attach the U-shaped control section which holds the monitor, very easy to do, again, with two people. All the tools are supplied so you do not need anything else to put the treadmill together. I would suggest a wrench and socket to speed things along. A couple of panel covers and it's almost complete. There is a shock which holds up the treadmill if you need to make use of the space it provides. Use - My wife is on her 3rd walk/hike in the Grand Canyon series and is enjoying it so far. The monitor is easy to setup and use/connect to WiFi. I-fit has a lot to offer from the browsing we did during the setup. The plan is of today - Memorial Day Sale - is $20 a month if you purchase for tow years. I'm sure they will offer sales in the future. Build quality - It's a sturdy as any commercial gym treadmill I've ever been on, and it's pretty quite. The -3 to +12 degree adjustments are nice as well. On the Grand Canyon hikes the treadmill automatically adjusts based on the terrain. All in all... it's been a positive experience. I'll post a 6 month update when we get there. Frank

My wife wanted a good treadmill anddid adequate research when picking this one out. She has always been thorough in her research when shopping for big items. The NORDICTRACK brand name was a wise selection. As far as I knew they have been in the fitness equipment for decades and are known for quality. It arrived right before Christmas 12/23. As this was her choice for a major gift for the holiday. 12/27 Easily assembled in less that an hour following the video link. Nice tools came with the product and made the assembly easier. She went through startup and couldn't get to the main screen. After 45 minutes of restarts following the prompts to a point where the screen, repeatedly would not advance to the next menu. She reached out to tech support. Several attempts, including a complete reload of software, in a close to 2-hour phone session, all of led to the conclusion that our console (smart screen) was bad and needed to be replaced. The technician informed her that she would receive a phone call or email the next day or Monday on the part being shipped. Never heard back from him. After the weekend, and hearing nothing back, she was ready to ship it back. She has no patience when promises of service responses go unanswered. Right then, she scheduled a return order to send it back. I calmed her down and said let's wait and see what happens. It's the holidays and there may be delays. Throughout this whole time, I received calls from the shipping company and delayed the pick up. I truly believed that NORDICTRACK would come through to service a new unit. This can’t be anything more than a fluke occurrence. 1/2/25 My first call following up to see if there was any progress to our tech support. Spent an hour and eighteen minutes dealing with someone checking, on hold, checking, on hold….”Yes, we see your claim, please hold….parts are not available” “we will let you know” All the time given me on hold was an opportunity to research online a few things. I learned that the president of NORDICTRACK had resigned a few years back. Right around the time there was a class action lawsuit over defective equipment. Also, NORDICTRACK was sold to another company. IFIT/ICON basically. 1/7/25 My next call was just past closing time, oops. 1/8/25 Over my lunch hour, I made 4calls. Total time around 26 min. First to a service rep who was European, I’m guessing a rookie, had trouble with the language, wanted me to troubleshoot the machine like it was a new service call. Through my frustration, I told her this wasn't getting my service claim, which had been in progress with service, any closer to a solution. I fact, it was a setback and I ended the Call. Second one I messed up my choice in automated choices Third call was getting somewhere until he accidentally put me back to a recording explaining all my questions could be answered Through IFIT website. Forth call, was a rep who seemed to be very helpful. Saw the order for a new console, checked availability, said she would expedite the part, and I would see it in a few days. I was elated….for a few days. Then….she asked for photo of the serial number on the frame. I wasnt near the machine. I was sitting in my car on my lunch hour. She gave me an email address to send it to. When I got home, I took the photo, sent it, and got a response that it was recieved. Feeling like I was finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. AND THEN…..nothing 1/14/25, 29 minutes on this call. The rep easily found our service request. I provided the nessecary model and serial number. Put me on hold, and came back to tell me that PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. I finally said. I'm done, cancel all requests. We will be returning the treadmill. Very Disheartening feeling after all the time on hold a various srevice people leaves me feeling like I got played by the whole group of customer reps and that for all the time I was put on hold was nothing more than reaching out to their supervisors and delivering empty promises and deceived me to delay this being resolved. Basically-”tell them we have the parts and we’ll ship it” So I acquired a pallet since the original box was gone with holiday wrappings. Also various shipping supplies and strapping. Bundled everything up tight, Next call that came from the shipping company I set the time for pick up, and sent it back. I gave them far more chances than I should have. And much went further to try to resolve this than my wife wanted me to.
