The treadmill itself is solidly made, and not all that difficult to assemble. There were a few issues that seemed to have worked themselves out with updates to the iFit software (sudden slowing down during slower walks was the primary symptom for me, and no amount of fiddling with the platform belt or drive belt helped it until the software update occurred). When I first purchased this treadmill, I also got the recurring iFit subscription as well, which at $15.99 was a pretty decent value. I used it religiously, and really enjoyed it. I started spending much more time outdoors on hikes and walks, and used the treadmill less and less as I transitioned to more outdoor exercise, but I kept it knowing that I would most likely used it when it was too hot to hike in the desert sun. So I come back, re-up my sub, and lo and behold, the sub does nothing for my machine. All the workouts I had enjoyed previously with my $15 sub are locked out, with a nice little message telling me to upgrade to "Pro" at $40 per month. More than twice the previous cost. From what I can tell, you dont get anything different for $40 than you used to get for $15, so now this treadmill is now basically just another run of the mill product. It is a shame that this company decided to pull a bait and switch money grab, which is a scam. For that kind of money you can get a premium gym membership with some nice amenities. For the old price, this product was worth the price of admission (the $1,600+ cost of the item) along with the on-going subscription price. With the new monthly pricing model, it is not worth the cost, unless you have that kind of money to throw around for what is ultimately mediocre content that tries and fails to compete with Peloton. This is beginner Youtuber quality at Peloton live personal trainer prices. Decided it was time to update this review from it's previous 5-star to the now appropriate 1.5-stars. Here is my original review: This thing is very solid, great length for someone with a long stride, comfortable to run/walk/hike on, and the screen is great. I was able to put it together by myself, though I do not recommend that, there were two places where having another person would have made it much easier. The iFit app is what takes a really good treadmill, with a good screen, great controls, and responsiveness and ties it all together to make for an amazing exercise experience. I literally can’t get enough of this piece of equipment, and until I started using it, I absolutely hated using a treadmill, as I found it very boring. That is not the case with this treadmill, at least with the iFit subscription. I would also recommend getting the subscription here on Amazon, as opposed to the iFit website, unless you want a family subscription for $39 per month. Getting the solo subscription, which I couldn’t find on the iFit website is only $15 a month. I nearly didn’t buy the treadmill due thinking that I had no choice but to get the family subscription, which seemed excessive to me as a single man, whose children are grown and out of the house.

I bought this to do incline walking. I'm not a runner so I didn't need the more expensive 1750. I've had the machine set up for about 2 weeks now and it's fantastic. A nice bounce to walk on. Super sturdy. A very smooth flow to the belt. Pretty close to a professional gym machine I normally use. The packaging is HEAVY (as is the machine). I carried it upstairs and that was a bear of a job. It definitely takes two people to assemble and figure about 1h or time to do it. While it's really easily foldable, it doesn't get super compact. None of these things detract from what counts for me: a pro-sumer machine that's near commercial gym quality. Easy to use. Smooth. More than what I hoped for at this price point.

The NordicTrack 1250 was delivered and placed into my living room. I was able to move it to our basement in pieces and needed very little help setting it up. I am 63 years old and was wanting a treadmill at home to use so I did not have to spend time traveling to a gym or be outside to walk in very cold or hot weather. The IFIT program has been of great benefit and I have used this feature with different trainers for about 4 weeks now. I have not been disappointed in any of the walking programs provided. I very much like the IFIT feature that learns your training habits and adjusts workouts to your level of training. The walking workouts are much more realistic with the automatic adjustment in the incline or decline. I am very glad this treadmill has the decline option. I wasn't planning on doing much jogging but have boosted up my training level this week and have actually jogged with a couple of the IFIT trainers. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and have not been bored with the programs available in IFIT. My wife has even used this machine a few times when she did not make it to the gym. She has been pleased with all of the options this treadmill offers. This machine is quiet and I do not have any problem watching tv or hearing trainers or the music provided with the workouts. The treadmill walking is easier on my knee and ankle joints than compared to the hard streets or sidewalks. So Far, I am very happy with this purchase.

Update. If the machine goes into sleep mode you need to unplug and plug in again. Waiting 2-3 min to startup. Junk Read before you buy it is treadmill it is costly mistake! I want to start with the good stuff: It is very well built Comfortable to run and walk on The belt stops, starts and slows down quickly like more expensive units The bad: You MUST have WiFi and if you don’t it does not work period. You may ask doesn’t everyone have WiFi ? We just moved into a new home we built and no we don’t have WiFi yet. The point is you cannot just get on it push a speed and incline and run. You must go through the ifit software The touch screen freezes when it does you need to power cycle it When you start up from no power or from sleep mode it take 1-3 minutes. You might think that’s short time to wait but when you get at At 5:30 to squeeze in a workout you don’t want to wait for it to boot up The font size is super small. Yes I have to have my readers on just to see what it’s saying. Not a huge deal but not great And here is the warning. ‼️ if you need to return it you MUST keep the box they will not accept it unless you box it back up. We did not keep the box. Amazon rep asked me if I had a box that size or can buy one. I said it’s a treadmill lol where can you buy a box that big? And you have to disassemble it which is not big deal Think 🤔 before you buy it may work for you great but Al least you know some details to make that decision
