    • Smallest plug size, works with Google home but not IFTTT
Pros: 1. the height allows it to fit two of these on the top and bottom outlets together, which I needed (and who wants to waste both outlets for a single plug anyway). Also, the narrow width allows it to fit in a very narrow angled outlet that I use, when none of the other smart plugs would fit. So basically, the combination of height and width is the smallest foot print for the outlets I am using that I was able to find. The round shape plugs may have a smaller actual footprint but since they are still too high to use two in both top and bottom outlets at once it defeats the purpose of being small. 2. Nooie works with Google home so I can turn on/off with my voice 3. Time schedule allows me to set the lights to go off at night and on in the morning Con: Does not work with IFTTT I have all my other lights (WeMo and Hue) connected to IFTTT so I use a rule that uses my phone's location and triggers all my other lights to turn off when I leave home, and turn back on when I return home. However, that leaves my lights that are plugged into the Nooie plugs still on unless I specifically tell Google to turn them off, which defeats the purpose of using IFTTT location rule at all, because if I'm going to say "Hey Google, turn off the Nooie lights" I can just as well say "turn of ALL the lights". I wanted no intervention from me at all when I leave home. The schedule can be a work around, but I don't always leave at the same time, so either the lights will go off while I'm still there, or they will remain on for longer than necessary after I leave. I hope that the Nooie company is actively working with IFTTT to get listed in their action services. Then these plugs would be perfect. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. this plug is great if you have babies or friends that come over with babies all the time, I like how compact they are and the fact that we can fit 2 plugs together, that cannot be done with the round ones, the configuration , all we needed to do is use the nooie home app, or cna be also used with alexa and google home , you will see that it works thanks to the led light in the front :) ... show more

I really like the Nooie smart plug because of the control I now have over the light fixtures I have plugged in to my pair of Nooie's. Besides using an app to turn lights on and off which is easier than getting up from my chair while watching TV, I like remotely doing so from my car when coming home at night to a dark house. Finally, I like its small size in comparison to my other brand of smart plugs. My photo shows the size comparison where the Nooie plug is the one on top. Tip: I used the Smart Life app on both my Android phone and iPad to connect to these plugs and control them using the alternate method of connection wherein the app creates its own hotspot.     • Fantastic affordable smart outlet - it nearly sets itself up!
So let me save people a bit of time: If you have any issues setting it up with Alexa, ensure you use the "Nooie Home" skill, not the "Nooie" skill. That being said, account creation was quick with their service, and once I installed the Nooie Home skill, it quickly detected my first outlet (the only one I setup at the time). Then once I setup the second outlet, Alexa told me it found it before I ever left the Nooie app - super convenient! If you rename the device in the Nooie app, Alexa detects it under the new name just fine, and unlike some smart devices, you didn't need to connect to the device's own WiFi just to set it up. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure at first, considering how cheap the cost was, but I'm very surprised at how capable the device and their service is! ... show more

    • Finally - Small Smart Switches!
I already have some Nooie smart switches, and they've proven easy to install and use. However, many swart switches are just a bit too large, covering up the other outlet in a duplex wallplate. These fix that problem. You can easily fit 2 of them on a standard outlet, or use 1 with a regular plug in the other outlet. Extremely easy for SmartLife and Alexa to get hooked up to and control. Very pleased, I highly recommend. Plan on getting more of these. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Something that surprised me is that you can block the Smart Plug so that they do not turn on even when the ignition button is pressed directly on the device. This option is beneficial for when there are small children at home and who like to be curious about these devices, which allows avoiding accidents. The configuration with Amazon Alexa transparently had my cell phone already configured. The Smart Plug recommends installing the application called "Nooie Home," which I installed and configured. I had to repeat the configuration process about three times to make it work. I have another generic application called "Smart Life" with which it was immediately configured and worked flawlessly.     • Stopped working after 2 months
It was relatively easy to set up with Alexa. It was working fine. Then 1 day it stopped responding. Alexa could not locate it. I tried to reconfigure it, but it no longer would reconfigure. I tried to email their support team, but no response. I would not recommend this smart plug. I bought it on a Prime Day sale. Don't get fooled like me. ... show more

Fairly easy to install, took awhile for the flashing light to come on for me to sync with my wifi. Instructions stated hold down for 5 seconds but it kept turning solid. I put it down for a few days and then picked it up and tried it again, with a little perseverance I succeeded. Paired it with Alexa also, instructions overall is easy to understand. Set up a schedule as well. It's not bulky in design which is why I went for it, so far I have only setup one out of 2. Bought an extra one for when I felt the need to expand. Happy with my purchase overall. I plan to add another smart device to this in the future, next is a camera on the list to acquire for smart home plans. ... show more
