If you’re just starting out, you are starting off with a very good detector. This is perfect for your entire family to use because it’s so easy to set and go. Found a few items at my local park and even in my yard. I cannot wait to go to beach and use it. Instead of trying to buy a very expensive one like I did, just buy something like this one and see if you even have the patience for metal detecting, it’s a nice hobby once you put the time and effort into it. Give it a shot, and expect there things to come in looking like they have been used, most of what’s sent it are returns. If you’re not sure, ask the seller if it’s a brand new item, they will let you know in your messages on account tab on the app. ... show more

Running 1.11 Firmware I took to South Fla beaches this Feb. I could not get it to stop Iron falsing.. I'd get a good signal, start digging it only to have the signal disappear. I spent days wasting time digging phantom and bad targets. I ended up running it at 19 MD-A and tried RS-IF-BC-GS to get it to work properly. I couldn't get it to where I could trust it. I switched back to my NOX and found a thin gold ring 18" down going back over the Legends area. SMJ 24 ... show more
