The Double Score has great reviews and I am a serious detectorist. The only down fall is it's weight is heavy and unbalanced, not a good detector for long days out detecting. The other bad part is it has no tone control. Absolutely must read owners manual and a few YouTube videos on operating it. Hopefully Nokta will follow up with an update for tones, and make available a lighter coil. I would highly recommend buying the Nokta Legend, the extra spending is well worth it. Style: Double Score
I purchased a simplex + some years ago and it has been stellar, but not so much in wet beach sand. This detector seems very well made and well thought out. The carbon fiber shafts have zero flex unlike the aluminum ones on my simplex and it feels lighter than the simplex. I was able to easily pair it with some Monoprce APTX LL headphones. Nokta is hungry to make their mark in the detector market and their product quality shows. $425 for an SMF Waterproof metal detector is all the proof I need to make that statement! ... show more
