First off, the grey is a dark grey in color, which isn't shown well in the photos. Otherwise this is a pretty good product. Went together well, though instructions could have been a little clearer [Remember to remove both plastic covers]. We did sweat a little since the chairs weren't going up or down, turns of your need to make sure to position the lever correctly. Initially I had a issue with my chair gas lift not working properly and the company promptly sent new gas lifts and the instructions on how to take the chairs apart. Easy to assemble except difficult to remove the plastic piece off that is required to remove so the chair moves up and down. I literally had to use a sharp object jamming it underneath to try to remove. Other then that they look great and adjust up and down very smoothly!

The set arrived fast, and my 12yo son assembled it before I got there! These chairs are exactly what I was looking for to use in our newly remodeled kitchen: being adjustable they make both tall (husband is 6’4) and small (I’m 5’3) people fit comfortably at the kitchen island. I like the foot rest, and the small back that makes them easy to move, but also allows them to be stored under the counter for times if high traffic. They seem sturdy - are very stable. Now yes, the sit is plastic, which is good to clean, but I wish we wouldn’t see the circular shadow of the support. That said, very happy with the purchase. ... show more
