The initial camera communication was good. Originally, I was happy with the performance of communication, picture quality and set up. I installed the 4 camera set up everything looked good. Started fine and then it was intermittent reception. I Reset-Reboot and the "NVR froze up at the WiFi setup window". Called the toll free number, they messaged then hung up. In all fairness customer call back within 12 hours next day. There is no hope for a customer to fix a NVR hardware or software problem. This was not a camera problem and I had 2 cameras approx 75 feet from the NVR. After the time, effort and energy to install these cameras I am more than disgusted. Typical electronic failure we all see so often these days and manufactures expect customers to treat it like a rainy day after good money spent. Wish me luck on my next set up.

Very disappointed with this Hiseeu camera system, the monitor kept disconnecting, then they send me replacement and now the cameras keep disconnecting. You will receive notifications on your phone almost 10ms after the motion has been detected.. This system is a piece of junk and Hiseeu customer service is even worse than the product. I wouldn’t recommend you wasting your money on this piece of junk called Hiseeu 16ch. You can’t even have one channel with stable connection. By the way four cameras are installed 3 feet from the DVR. I wish I could get my money back.

It was easy to setup, the cameras work well, however in less than a year the hard drive failed, they did send me a new hard drive which was easy to install but then in another 7 months the hard drive failed again. When I received the second hard drive I asked if there was a warranty on it and I was told they warranty all of their products for one year but when the second one went out they told me they don't warranty replacement parts. In my opinion that isn't right especially after telling me it had a one year warranty.

Advice to anyone interested in this unit is avoid this at all cost. They send units that will not record and will try to get you to purchase their cloud products. Customer service is worse than their product United States consumer and they ask me if the plug THEY SENT is 3v or 4v and the unit only works on 3v. What??? It doesn’t work in any capacity and heed my warning don’t buy from this company

This would be a great camera system if the app works. Delivered quickly, without issue. Easy to set up. However all of these things do not matter because you cannot view the cameras through the app or to check any motion detection alerts because the app will always crash and never let you View video. My phone has the latest update and the latest app so that is not the issue. Please fix the app and I will be happy to change my review however currently the system is useless

Cameras are nice with good quality but DVR box will not stay on more then 30 seconds and then stays off for a minute then reboots. Did everything they asked to try and resolve issue and still no luck. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this product. They are not helpful

After several months with this Hiseeu system, I'm genuinely disappointed and frustrated. Even with human detection enabled and sensitivity on low, the cameras flood me with false "human detected" alerts—averaging 20+ per day, spiking to 50+ during rain or wind. Tree branches swaying, rain itself, and a parked tractor tire all get misidentified as people. The NVR started randomly rebooting every few days too (everything goes black, it beeps loudly, then restarts), making the whole setup unreliable. When the seller messaged offering a "full refund" if I just replied "Full refund," I accepted immediately—only for them to backtrack. They pushed troubleshooting I'd already done, then demanded I dismantle the entire 8-camera system, pack it up, and ship it back at my expense and effort before they'd even consider a refund or replacement. No discount, no compensation for the massive hassle of reinstalling if they sent a new one. It's exhausting and unfair that when a product doesn't work as advertised (constant false alerts, instability), the buyer ends up shouldering significant time, labor, and potential risk just to get basic resolution. This isn't what I signed up for when I bought based on the listing's claims. Setup was easy, but the ongoing issues and resolution process make it not worth it for reliable security use.
