    • Rattles a lot
I bought this to replace the tube I've had since 1998. This tube rattles, and I have lost bass response because the tube is not put together well. I will reinstall the old tube I've had for the past 23 years. The port seems to do all the rattling like it is separated from the tube itself. When I put a strap around the tube and the port some of the rattling stopped, but then the rear of the tube started rattling. ... show more

I have not gotten it yet, but after seeing the good reviews from those with 10" kickers, I decided to go ahead. At best, I get an awesome box for the sub I have or at worst a decent bkx I jave to modify a little. Either way, I don't have the time or tools to make this shape box and with the price if MDF now, I might as well get it. The kickers published specs would agree this box fits with just under one cubic feet of volume, but I have seen reviews where they are recommending filling the box to thw brin with polyfill, just because another brand dors that with their boxes. Well, Kicker recommends for the Kicker Comp 10" to only fill it about half way. Anyone else wondering, I say what does the subwoofer manufacturer recommend for the speaker you have. All speakers are made differently and depending on the maufacterer, have different requirements as for enclosures. The reason so many say the sealed boxes work well, is because there is a 20% plus or minus margin of error.l with this type of box. Ported enckosures, the reason there are so many bad reviews, is because that type of bix is not so forgiving and usually requires EXACT specs depending on the woofer. For this enclosure, anything if between .75 - 1.2 cubic feet of internal space is what your specific speaker requires, then you should be good. ... show more

Wires were crummy but when your putting a whole new setup you'll have left over speaker wire. First thing I did was replace the wires. running a skar evl 1000 rms 2000 peak 10in in my single cab ranger. tight fit but obviously it still works. No complaints so far

This box is made of cardboard. Looks like if it got wet a little bit, it would be destroyed.

Isn't as appears the port is squared not rounded and the sealant is applied in a sloppy manner. Rough spots under the lip where you screw the woofer in to. I now have the re-seal it properly, smooth out the rough spots and poly the snot inside it

Nicely build but cheap material,reinforced with heavy duty wood glue haven’t had a problem yet listen to other reviews and not over tightened the screws,with a little work to it you can make something decent out of it,wasn’t many othe options out there so I went with this
