Only adapter you should use spend the extra money it's worth it. Nintendo unfortunately only likes customers to use first party or officially licensed accessories so it's safer to spend more money instead of buying cheaper off brand stuff because there is a small chance your Nintendo switch 1 or 2 could be damaged. ... show more

This is an absolute must buy for the Nintendo Switch 2. I like to play docked and hand held and the battery hand held doesn't last past a few hours. I’ve tried every cord I have and even portable chargers and it wouldn’t even maintain the battery once it gets to low battery and ultimately shut off. I purchased this official Nintendo Switch charger and I went from 14% battery to 59% in about a half hour. Not losing battery at all, just gaining. Highly recommended this. It is a little more money than the off brands but only trust Nintendo brand products for the Nintendo products especially the new Switch 2. ... show more

    • Works great but wish the cord was longer
It works great and I only purchased this because I suspected that my previous one was faulty. I was wrong though as my new AC adapter has proven to me that my Switch 2 just has a faulty bottom charging port and my first AC adapter also works just fine. Not sure what to do about my Switch 2 now but the AC adapter was not the problem. I do wish the cord was longer because you have to sit pretty close to the outlet if you are playing handheld with it plugged in. ... show more
