The Ninja SLUSHi XL is now one of the most enjoyable kitchen appliances I've added to my home. It makes restaurant quality frozen drinks with very little effort. The drinks stay full of flavor instead of becoming watered down, giving them a much better texture and taste than a traditional blender. One of my favorite features is SlushAssist. I like that all you have to do is simply add your ingredients, select one of the preset programs, and the machine automatically adjusts the temperature to create the ideal consistency. I made fresh frozen lemonade and multiple batches of spiked pina coladas with varying levels of ingredients and every batch came out smooth and consistent. The fifteen temperature settings also let you fine-tune the thickness if you prefer your drinks a little softer or firmer. Also, the time it takes to make drinks is impressive. For a pina colada, using ingredients that were pre chilled in a refrigerator, I had perfect consistency drinks ready in twenty two minutes. My favorite aspect of this machine is that the drinks stay full of flavor instead of becoming watered down, giving them a much better texture and taste than a traditional blender. The XL capacity is nice if you have a larger crowd such as a pool party. Instead of making multiple small batches it is much easier to prepare enough frozen drinks for everyone at once. It also keeps the drinks at the proper consistency for hours, which is a great feature when entertaining. The controls are simple and intuitive. There are plenty of recipes available from Ninja as well as online, making it easy to experiment. Cleanup is easier than I expected. The removable components come apart easily and wash quickly by hand, although the large reservoir may be too big for some dishwashers. The only real drawback is its size. This is a large machine that occupies a noticeable amount of counter space, so owners of smaller kitchens will want to plan where they'll store it. It also produces some operating noise and puts out some heat while freezing drinks, but it's not excessive and is easy to ignore during normal conversation or while watching television. One other issue to note is that for low sugar recipes, the recipe that you use will have to contain a certain amount of sugar or recommended sweetener in order to set properly. The Ninja SLUSHi XL delivers exactly what it promises. It produces smooth, flavorful frozen drinks without dilution, is exceptionally easy to operate, and has enough capacity to entertain a large group. The excellent build quality, consistent performance, and versatility make it an appliance that gets used far more often than I expected. If you enjoy frozen beverages, whether for family treats or adult cocktails, this machine is an outstanding investment and one I would highly recommend.

I am seriously so in love with this giant slush machine for my kitchen. I decided to order it because we always have other families over for weekend barbecues and the regular blender just wasn’t cutting it for making fun drinks. This XL version is honestly amazing cause it holds so much liquid and I can easily make enough frozen yogurt treats for my young kid and all her little friends at the same time without having to refill it constantly. The green color is super fun too and looks realy nice sitting on my counter next to the coffee pot. The best part is definitely that u dont need any ice at all. You literally just pour your ingredients right into the big container and the machine does all the freezing work for u. My hubby was super impressed with the technology cause the drinks come out with that perfect slushy texture instead of being full of hard ice chunks like our old blender used to make. I even made some frozen yogurt in it yesterday and the output tasted absolutely amazing and so creamy. It is definitely a well made appliance that feels real heavy and sturdy. If your someone who never hosts parties or only wants to make one tiny drink at a time u should probly not buy this machine cause it takes up a lot of space and makes massive batches. But if u love throwing summer get togethers or want to make super fun frozen treats for your family I completely recommend it. It makes hosting so much easier and is totally worth having in the house for hot days!

Every guest we’ve had over and served slushies has commented on how fun it is. The recipes can be as easy or as hard as you want. Often we just dump a 2 liter of some kind of pop in there. Within 15 minutes there is delicious and cold drinks ready on tap. We made milk shakes too. That was fairly simple with ingredients already in my fridge. With a lot of fun toppings it was a hit. The cleaning cycle is easy but I dont depend on that alone. Taking it apart and washing 3 different parts and wiping down the machine takes about 5 minutes. So I run the clean cycle in between flavors but do a take apart clean at the end of the day. The size is bittersweet. I love how many cups one cycle fills but it does take room to store and counter top space. I am going to look for a case for it go into storage during certain times we are not hosting. The color is attractive on the counter though. It gives a vintage flair. It has been a hot summer so this has really hit the spot. The machine is an investment but like anything else I’ve bought that’s a ninja it’s great quality. We are happy with our purchase. My kids love!!

I ordered this Ninja Slushi XL Smart Frozen Drink Maker and I could not be more pleased. It takes all the guesswork out of making any frozen drink. I used to make frozen margaritas in a blender, but the problem was that when I added the ice it would dilute the drink. And if I tried putting in less ice, the margarita wouldn't have the consistency of a frozen margarita you get in a restaurant. With this Ninja XL I don't use any ice. Just pour all your ingredients in and press the SlushAssist button and the machine automatically figures out how to make the perfect great tasting margarita based on how much alcohol and how much sugar is in the drink. Your frozen margaritas, Pina coladas, milk shakes, or whatever you want, comes out perfect every time. Super easy to use! And cleaning is also a snap. Just run water through it a few times and press the rinse button. You eject the water simply by pulling the handle back like your filling a glass. My only negative is the size. It's huge and takes up a lot of counter space. And if you're just wanting one margarita the machine's minimum amount of liquid to get it to work is 24 ounces. However my wife came up with the idea to make 24 ounces and what I don't want I can pour into a plastic glass and put it in my freezer for the next time I want a margarita. Just pull the extra out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes and you're good to go. Another idea that works for parties that involve kids is to make a giant batch of a fruit sushi (like a Pina colada) and don't add alcohol. Any adult that wants alcohol just add it later and now the Ninja XL works for both kids and adults at the same time. If you consider that most frozen margaritas cost about $9 a glass for house margaritas and $12-$15 for top shelf margaritas, this Ninja XL pays for itself in no time at all. It's a great value for the money.

The machine is so much fun to have at home. We have already used it several times, and the drinks come out with a really smooth slushy texture. I love that it doesn’t need ice because the texture is much better than what I usually get from a blender. The large size is great when having family or friends over because you can make a big batch without constantly refilling it. It is also very easy to use. Just add your drink ingredients, select the setting, and let it run. The cleaning has been easier than expected. The rinse function is helpful, and the parts that need to be washed are simple to remove. It is definitely a large appliance though and takes up a good amount of counter space. It has some noise as well while running, but nothing that bothers me too much. If you enjoy frozen drinks, hosting, or making treats for the family, this is a really fun appliance to have. It is not something everyone needs, but if you will use it often, it is worth it.

This Ninja SLUSHi XL has been a lot of fun to use! I love that there’s no need to add ice, so the drinks stay full of flavor instead of getting watered down. The SlushAssist technology does a great job creating a smooth, consistent texture with very little effort on my part. The 128-ounce container is huge and perfect for entertaining or family gatherings. It makes enough for a crowd, so I’m not constantly refilling it. We’ve tried frozen lemonades, fruit slushies, and frozen coffee drinks, and they’ve all turned out great. The machine feels well-built, and the controls are straightforward. While it does take up a fair amount of counter space because of its XL size, that’s expected for a machine that can make over 10 servings at once. Overall, this is a fantastic frozen drink maker for anyone who enjoys hosting or just wants restaurant-quality slushies at home. It’s easy to use, makes delicious drinks, and has quickly become one of our favorite kitchen appliances.

Love it already. It is super easy to use. Find a recipe (there are a ton online, and ninja's website provides plenty more), mix the ingredients and add to the machine. Couldn't be easier to use. I was worried about cleaning, but come to find out it's easy to disassemble and clean. The main reservoir won't fit in my dishwasher so I have to hand wash it. No big deal. Otherwise there are only three other parts/area that require cleaning. You'll know when your drink is done when it achieves the selected temp. For our Frostys, this takes about twenty minutes. Yesterday was strawberry Frostys and today it's chocolate. The taste is amazing! The machine itself is good looking...but massive. I have a small galley kitchen in a 100yo home and this thing uses serious counter space. It does make noise, but I can easily watch tv ten feet away with no issues. We are using it daily. Once your drink is done, the machine can keep circulating, keeping your drink at the correct temp/consistency for another twelve hours. Quite neat. This is an awesome deal if you enjoy frozen drinks like we do. My wife has tried a wine slushy yet, but is looking forward to it. Super satisfied customers.
