Ideal appliance for those looking for alternative for healthy deserts. It’s not designed to be a blender, but it does have a mix in function. It’s all about the consistency. The engine does get worn down faster if you consistently operate with a frozen solid container. I’d recommend giving it thirty minutes to an hour outside the freezer to extend the life of your machine. We love our ninja and use for a lot of different desserts. It's a little smaller than a traditional Ice cream churner, but WAY faster! We have a big family, so we have to work with it to make enough for our family, but the speed make that pretty doable. We will probably just buy some more quart and pint containers to be able to make more in one sitting. ... show more

The larger containers are worth the extra price. I can make 2 servings in one container. I can process the top for one serving and later processed the bottom for another serving.

Did not get the machine in the correct box. No book inside the box for instruction. It look like so weird that the machine was in a really big box, that cause me ti pay doble the price of the machine for shipment. very unhappy

While the product is good the company Beach Camera is not so good. There was no information on the bundle 2yr warranty nor was there the guide and recipe book that was advertised. Can’t get in touch with Beach Camera and Ninja does not provide any information when contacting direct.
