  • This Machine is Easy to Use and Easy to Clean
Color: Stainless Steel
I had never made Espresso or a Latte in my life before purchasing the Ninja es701. This machine made doing so child's play. The built in Barista helps configure the machine for the drink you want to make. Our coffee drinks are turning out great and are every bit as good as the high-end coffee shops. Clean up is easy, especially with the auto-purge for the frother. Footprint isn't much bigger than our old K-cup machine. Recommend also buying the Ninja knock box for removing coffee pucks. Much easier and cleaner than attempting to do so into a trash can. We are very satisfied with how well this machine is working and we now enjoy good tasting coffee. ... show more

  • Great machine
Color: Stainless Steel
The machine might look intimidating but it is super easy to use. The AI barista is helpful and after a few cups that are a little off, you gain the confidence to adjust the grind setting to your taste. There is a way to adjust the temperature of the coffee and the frother. The frother works well. The machine is super easy to clean as well. Altogether its a great machine for coffee lovers who desire to venture into self brewing without making an extremely large investment. ... show more

  • The PRO model is SO worth the extra money! NO measuring/tamping/no MESS on your counter!
Color: Stainless Steel
OMG, I LOVE this machine! I've had it just a few days and I am so impressed by the coffee drinks it makes. The machine is absolutely stunning and beautiful. It's solid and feels high quality. The thing I'm most impressed with is how fabulous the milk frother is. You don't have to keep moving your arm around to froth half and half or milk; it spins the liquid automatically by itself. I've been stuck on cappucinos since I got it. I am coming from a super-automatic where it not only tamps but dumps the pucks into a container for you. The Pro version has an assisted tamper built in; so no measuring and weighing coffee grinds. NO MESS all over the counter! For the additional 100. it is SO WORTH upgrading to get this model for this feature alone. All you need do is pull the tamper lever twice and it's tamped and ready to brew. Every cup of espresso comes out the same! SO worth the extra money. The only thing is now you need a knock box to dump the pucks into, but that's a small price to pay for such an exquisite espresso machine. I love the hot water feature too. And I haven't even tried the cold brew feature. The espresso comes out with a wonderful crema and the froth lets you adjust from thin to thick! After most recently using a coffee pod system I have a new love of coffee again. I'm really enjoying this and think I'll go have another cappucino! YUM, it's just fabulous and it's very well thought out and easy to learn how to operate it. Bravo Ninja! ... show more

  • Excellent coffee maker with tons of functions!
Color: Stainless Steel
Overall it has been an excellent experience! We are fortunate to have a daughter that worked for Starbucks so she figured out everything right away. For everyone else, like myself, it took a few days to get used to it. I prefer the taste of the coffee over Keurig pods any day of the week. My daughter makes lattes and cold brew coffee drinks that would rival any coffee house! Anyone she makes a drink for immediately says I have to get one of these! The ability to grind beans and then brew fresh coffee is awesome! I would say the only drawback is having to empty the bottom water tray. Our coffee bar is across the kitchen so we have to walk all the way across the room to dump it without spilling. Other than that, the water reservoir holds a good amount of water, the water temperature is on point, and the taste of the coffee is amazing! ... show more

  • 0/10 worst coffee I’ve had
Color: Stainless Steel
I have been making my espresso at home every morning with a breville machine for five years. I decided to upgrade because I was drinking hot lattes more often and I was going to take my current machine to work. No chose this machine because of the quad shot option and when asked I was led to believe that it would froth milk and brew coffee simultaneously (it does not). This would be a good option for someone who wants to think they’re drinking fancy espresso drinks but doesn’t actually care about flavor or quality. It says the grinds are measured by weight which I determined was false the very first cup because it was somehow still set to double when I started the grind process then when I switched it to luxe it overfilled. If it was measuring by weight that wouldn’t have been possible. The quad shot makes an awful watered down shot of espresso that’s probably much more than twice the volume of a double shot and it leaves the grounds wet with water on top which shouldn’t happen. Theres also way more room at the top when using the luxe/quad basket than there should be which could be causing this. The milk frother is interesting but instead of frothing it’s basically just adding a bunch of water. I use half whole milk and half creamer and it’s fairly thick on its own. I could tell looking at it during the frothing process that it was getting watered down and that’s exactly how it tastes. Even on the highest setting it just tastes very watered down and extremely hot. I chose this machine to save myself time and effort in the mornings especially when I wanted hot coffee instead of iced and it somehow takes even longer than brewing two double shots and frothing the milk by hand. If it actually made good coffee I would have kept it or taken it to work but I’ve tried every setting imaginable and it’s just bad. If I could give this item negative stars I would. If you’ve made it this far and you’re wanting good home brewed espresso i recommend the breville machines, they work great and are the same price. ... show more

  • Best coffee machine I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had a few!)
Color: Stainless Steel
I researched extensively before buying this espresso machine. I came across a number of reports of defective machines but decided to take a chance based on Ninja’s reputation. I’m so glad I did! The machine is extremely solid and well built. It can make everything from regular coffee to espresso to iced coffees. This is a very sophisticated machine and reading the manual is essential for a good result. The coffee produced smells and tastes amazing. The milk frother works better than any frother I’ve had before. The bean hopper holds a large amount of coffee beans which I appreciate. I find the speed of the machine to be good and comparable to other espresso machines I’ve had. I’ve seen reports of the coffee produced being too hot or too cold but mine has been perfect for me for each type of drink. Given the many different types of coffee beverages this machine makes with ease, I highly recommend it. In fact, I went to stay with relatives for a month over the holidays and I took the machine with me! ... show more

  • Greatest coffee any way you like it! Greatest coffee any way you like it!
Color: Stainless Steel
It is the best coffee machine I’ve ever had and I’ve had a rainbow of them however it could do better on the Crema of the espresso as it is not very cream thick, but everything else is great especially the frother, it takes away that has work to make great cappuccinos and incredible chilled coffee drinks! The materials of it look really good even though it’s not stainless steel the whole thing and it does have several parts that are made out of PVC. I think the cost is a little high, but I guess with everything that it comes with, including the semi automatic tamper is also a super convenient feature, you can see it’ll last you for years. The only downside to it is that the use of water is quite a lot so you have to be emptying the tray constantly after you make around to good drinks. I think ninja should look into integrating a rubber doing for discharging this water into your sink and that would solve the problem! The coffee quality depends on what coffee beans you use but as far as functionality with the beans, it’s great the brew speed, coffee, quality, and heat level of it are great as well. The capacity you get on each beverage is also great and especially by the fact that you can choose from Ristretto, espresso, Lungo and Americano among other to choose from. It also gives you automatically the number that you should match to the machines suggestion in order to have the perfect grind for your choice of drink. Last but not least it comes with Storage for your coffee, tools so they are entirely hidden from site inside the machine on the right side. The only downside this machine has is the fact that it accumulates a lot of water as the byproduct of making the different coffee choices. It should come with a drain tube to go directly into the sink or spout! The counter space it takes is a little bit chunky but against having an espresso machine and a drip coffee machine it’s a win-win! I think it’s a great upgrade from the last Ninja, but the pro series is incredible! ... show more

  • Get it! You won’t regret it!!
Color: Stainless Steel
I LOVE espresso ☕️ machine!! I don’t usually drink espressos because they are so strong but I love that with this machine I can make it as strong as I like. I also love that I can make so many different coffees. From lattes to iced to regular drip coffee. The foam choice is amazing too! And, it’s so easy to use! Just make your choice and hit start brew or start foam! I don’t have to be a barista to get coffee made by a barista 😊. I also like the built in tamper. It made it so easy instead of having to press it myself. I’m still learning the foam part. Sometimes it doesn’t quite come out as thick, in my opinion. The top layer does but not the entire amount does. I think that’s my error though, I made it too soon so it has too long while waiting for the coffee so it has too much time to set. I also may try a different milk 🥛 next time. Otherwise, I’m happy with this purchase and the cost is worth it. I can get a fancier coffee at home without having to leave the house to get one. ... show more
