I recently purchased a 5 man excursion boat from Intex. The first time I opened it, I noticed a white clip that keeps the oar together was missing. Easy enough, I’ll call Intex to send me new $5 plastic oar. Was told that the warranty ran out 6 says ago. I explained that I did not open the item until I was going to use it. Rep basically told me to pound rocks. I asked for his supervisor. He would not give me their name and contact info. I asked for his name and he hung up on me!!! ... show more

Great product but doesn't come with a motor mount. Had to contact customer service to get the actual boat itself after already purchased. Problem was resolved and I love my boat and motor. Holds 4 and some cargo and correct motor leads to smooth experience.

    • Hole after first use
This is a great idea and I was so excited about this purchase. After the first use there was a hole in the bottom of the boat. Also no battery and no place to hold the propeller. All separate purchases. Of course it’s past the time frame to return. Lots of money- not really worth it.

    • Nice boat but no accommodations for the battery
It’s a nice deal and a nice boat but being as it came with a trolling motor that requires a battery you’d think they would have made some sort of accommodation for said battery in the design of the boat.

    • Motor mount not included and needs where to put battery
The boat comes with a motor but no motor mount, that doesn't make any sense. The mount was only $40 but it should be included. There is no special place to place battery and is always in the way and falling over. It's also difficult to reach over to adjust motor depth and angle while riding. Got it in the water, chamber #2 leaks. Very uncomfortable. Not even close to what I expected. Battery doesn’t last very long at all.
