I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband. Honestly, I use them more than he does. But we both LOVE them. They slice through everything like butter. Even cutting thick cuts of meat is easy. They also look beautiful. Everyone who has asked about them has heard me rant and rave about how awesome they are. I have not used the sharpener much yet because we have only had them for a month. Would have gave a 5 star but my large chef knife came with a major flaw. I should have reported as arrived damaged. I was dealing with a death so wasn't able to contact in timely manner. So other than damaged knife they have remained sharp and nice knives.
