We've had other countertop oven/air fryers and used them daily. This Ninja double oven is by far the best. Having two ovens in one is remarkably efficient and makes meal production faster and easier. You can do steak in one, fries in the other, or a meal for adults in one, and different items for the kids in the other, or an entree in one and a dessert in the other. This appliance is well built, well thought out, and the learning curve on the controls is short.... but it's there, especially regarding use of the thermometer. The internal food temperature thermometer is a big plus when you correctly use it. We are thrilled with this double oven and have fun using it every day. Only downsides are it's a bit noisy (a minor issue), a bit larger than traditional toaster ovens, and the large sheet pans and air fryer basket are supposed to be washed by hand, so cleanup is a bit of a chore. All in all, however, we would buy this again in a minute! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love how the oven bakes, toasts, air roasts, convection, etc. You do need to play with temps & times as it cooks faster than your regular oven. Also really love the Smart Finish, my potatoes and roast finish at the same time. I think the toast function works better than the Brevelle brand. The only reason I deducted a star is the noise. Much louder than the Brevelle brand. I did see a couple of other reviews stating it was fairly loud. I haven’t used my regular oven since I purchased it. ... show more

I absolutely love this ninja oven. It makes it so easy to prepare meals, especially dinner. I can pop veggies in the top and cook chicken on the bottom. Once the timer is set there’s nothing else to do except relax until your meal is ready. It’s easy to cook whole meals, but I can also toast bagels, and perform much similar kitchen functions too. It’s replaced many appliances in my kitchen. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. The only thing I would suggest for future improvement is to automatically turn on the “keep warm” function once the timer is up. Especially if the other timer for the other section is still running. Pre-heats quickly. Controls are intuitive. Dials and buttons feel high quality. Air fry fan is pretty loud but delivers even and consistent results.

    • Defective oven? Too noisy

Received the oven in a beat up box. Appears to be new but probably a return. I read some of the reviews but didn’t see anyone talking about the noise. It is noisy when operating but we can live with that. However, what we can’t live with is the noise it makes after it’s done cooking and cooling down. At first we thought it was a noisy fan, and that’s where the noise is coming from to cool down the oven. But then we noticed the fan on the side was not blowing air, just making a strange noise, so maybe the fan is stuck and not turning. Not a normal noise. . I suspect Amazon got a defective oven on return and decided to try and resell it. If that’s true, that’s a shame. We have to repack and return the oven now. We liked everything about it but we can’t live with that noise. ... show more

My ninja DT 251 XL broke under 24 months and I decided to get the newest edition the DCT 601. It’s really nice but there’s no roast tray. For almost $300, a roast tray is a must have and I didn’t carefully review the pictures. Now I have to see if there are after market accessories since ninja doesn’t sell it.
