Cracked and leaking liquid into my blender after one month. I bought 2 of them because I was happy to find a replacement that fit my Ninja Auto iq and they have both cracked. Each one has 4 hairline cracks all around the blade. Now I can’t return them because it’s past my return time.

I bought this to replace my original ninja blade. This lasted only about a couple weeks. The noise level was intolerable. Granted, the Ninja is not aptly named - it is not quiet & stealthy. But this replacement blade sounded so horrible, it was beyond loud. I had to hold my hands over my ears as I ran out of the kitchen to seek refuge a couple of rooms away. It was a race to cover my ears once I hit the start button. Seriously, I have hearing loss in 1 ear & it was still way too loud to tolerate. First it was just loud. Then it was loud with the sound of something grinding that shouldn't be. Then it started to develop a bad smell, like something overheating. My wonderfully geeky engineer husband literally took the lid/blade apart, cleaned it up & added a washer that he thought would help. None of this helped. It remained just as loud & sounded just as bad. I started shopping for a whole new blender system, then it dawned on me that my replacement was not an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part. So I spent the extra $$ for the $35 OEM Ninja replacement blade and voila - problem solved!! Now my whole family doesn't have to run out of the kitchen, hands over their ears, seeking a safe place to hide every morning when I make my smoothie. I'll happily pay the extra money for the legit replacement part next time I wear it out from nearly daily use. Please don't waste your time & money on this knockoff. Your ears will thank you! The media could not be loaded. In the video is the product and the picture is the blender base. There are too many prongs in the to fit the blender base. This is an imitation. Not the product I thought I was getting.

    • Have no fear….it definitely works
This is a near perfect copy of the original and works just as well as the original. The OEM replacement part costs much more so I decided to try this. I’m very glad I did ! It also came with an extra silicone gasket seal and metal tool to remove the old one. I didn’t even know there was a replaceable gasket on the original ! ... show more

    • Wrong model number
I ordered this because it listed the model number of my unit, but this is not a correct replacement. Nothing about this fits. Keep your box and check before discarding. I am unable to return because I trusted the model numbers notes this item to be a replacement for. Very frustrating. At least I have 2 gaskets and a hook to get the gaskets out and wash well. But I am going to order direct from ninja now. ... show more
