I love this. It works perfectly. The product fell from about 3ft up because my toddler and it still works just as great. The light isn't too bright. It holds a great pretty decent amount of water. It took about 5 days to completely fill from a pretty decent open floor plan living room. Relatively no noise at all. My only complaint is that when it fills up it's a little more tricky to remove the tub. But once you figure that out it easy to remove. No smell.

We are renovating a house currently and found that it has some serious damp issues in all the closets and the small upstairs bathroom. We do have a large whole house dehumidifier on the main floor which helps a lot, but it doesn't quite get the bathroom or the closet areas. I researched dehumidifiers and settled on this unit for the bathroom and desiccant dehumidifiers for all the small closet spaces. I mainly chose this unit due to the great reviews and because it is aesthetically pleasing compared to other similar units. After placing it in the bathroom to see how well it worked, I was pleasantly surprised at its output. We are having to change it every 2 days -- which is about 40 oz of water pulled from the air. This is from a small 5x7 bathroom space that is used every day. I didn't expect such a small unit to be as efficient as the large models, so this was a decent amount of dehumidification given its size (in my opinion). It has seriously helped with the damp smell in the bathroom which was the biggest concern, so I'm pleased with that. I like the options of changing the LED light colors or even switching them to dark (which sometimes I do if the light from under the door keeps me up at night). I love the look of the colorful LED light cycling during the waking hours so I leave it on most of the time. The unit itself is a nice size and we actually just put built-in shelves that can accommodate it when we have guests and want it off the floor. It might be okay staying on the shelf full-time, however, I worry that it would lose efficiency due to the lack of air circulation (only a few inches behind it and a few inches above). It is so attractive that I don't mind it being out most of the time anyway. There is a slight bit of heat output from the unit, but nothing significant and the plug is a nice power supply plug that doesn't get overly hot. Lastly, the water bin is a breeze to empty and clean unlike other units I've had in the past. The lid comes completely off and you can clean it out easily in the sink. Overall, I highly recommend this dehumidifier for SMALL spaces or as an auxiliary dehumidifier. Do your research on how much you need to actually dehumidify and plan your devices accordingly. For us, a large whole house dehumidifier on the main floor with a few small units was perfect for our 2 story, 1,800 sq ft home. I wouldn't plan to use this unit in anything larger than an enclosed 5x7 space and expect results.

TL:DR Don't buy I let this run 4 hours in a 100 sq ft room with the door closed on 5.6. I compared temp and humidity with my living room with the window cracked open. After four hours there was no change in humidity in the bedroom, while the living room dropped 1%. The temp stayed the same. I got 2.5 tablespoons of water at 70% humidity. My hygrometer does not due tenths. Today, 5.7, I gave it an 8 hour run, at the same temp, humidity levels. I got twice the water and it didn't change the humidity 1%. As I was unplugging it, I felt a lot of heat in the plug. Took about 30 seconds to get my laser temp gun and the plug was 93°. The only other time I felt a plug that hit was using my portable induction stove on sear to boil a giant pot of water for about 20 minutes. It will make the 2nd time in4 years I will have returned something. Recommend trying another unit.

So far it's looking like this little dehumidifer is doing its job. I was a little concerned when I first opened it that it wouldn't work right since it felt really light and like it didn't have any substance to it. But it's been running nonstop for a week straight and it's definitely collecting to moisture from the air. The tray tank obviously gets filled at different rates depending on how humid the room is, but so far I've only had to empty it once. I live in a small studio-like apartment so I just set this right in the middle and it covers every corner of the room. Definitely worth the price. And since it's so small it can be placed anywhere. Perfect for a table top or even a nightstand since this thing doubles as a nightlight. Perfect for finding my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night without needing to turn on any big ceiling lights. Makes a little bit of sound from the motor, but it's barely noticeable. Kind of sounds like a little battery-operated hand-held fan, if that makes any sense. So not very loud is what I'm trying to get at. I don't even notice it's running unless I'm actually paying attention to it. I give it a 9/10.

Works well. The lighting feature is nice. we use it as a night light in our kitchen area. Not to noisy. Water capacity fills too quickly in my opinion. But, I should have bought one with a bigger holding area. Very easy to power on/off. Would buy again.

I bought this hoping it would help with humidity in my room, but it’s much smaller than I expected. Even after running all day, it collects only a small amount of water. Might be fine for a tiny space or closet, but not for a bedroom or larger area.
