These are some very bright little RV lights! I placed them on a separate circuit outside the front of our trailer. We already have strip type awning LED's, but they are white and don't look that great for socializing. These are a great warm amber color which is easy on the eyes and doesn't seem to attract as many mosquitoes or other flying insects compared to the white LED. The unit is manufactured from solid metal with a high gloss powder coated finish. Installing is fairly easy if you know where you can pull power from. Some negatives... 1. As other reviewers have noted, there are two cable notches on either side of the unit that need to be sealed with big globs of calking / silicone which isn't ideal and doesn't look great unless you're really careful. 2. The supplied gasket is black, even on a white unit which doesn't make sense. Please supply a matching color gasket to the unit color. 3. The mounting holes are fairly large and kinda ugly. It would have been nice if rubberized 'plugs' had been included to place in the holes after securing. It would seem to potentially be another point of water / morning dew egress if left exposed. I would recommend filling with calking after tightening the screws. All in all, a good light and a well made unit.

In my short video (with auto-captions), I showcased just how effective these lights are. The amber light they produce is perfect for nighttime use. It provides ample illumination without being overly bright or causing harsh glare. This is a huge plus for anyone who wants to enjoy their outdoor space without disturbing the peace or attracting unwanted attention. These lights are built to last. Each unit features 36 high-quality SMD LED chips, promising a long lifespan. The robust 6063 aluminum housing not only looks sleek in its black finish but also effectively dissipates heat, contributing to the overall durability. The IP67 waterproof rating gives me confidence that these lights can handle any weather condition. Installation is straightforward. As the product description suggests, I will simply pre-drill a hole for the wiring harness and secured the lights with self-tapping screws. I recommend using 16AWG wiring for optimal performance.
