ok I've spent alot of money on high end fast chargers and none compares to the incredible fast speed at which this charges! it also has a very accurate as I tested it against my kline multi meter volt meter that indicates your battery voltage so that alone is easily worth the cost of the unit for those who don't want to kill their battery . Everything works great, and I got a good deal on it. The voltmeter seems accurate and well made. The 12 volt port will NOT reduce voltage to 12 volts from a higher input though the description seems to imply that it will. I used this with a 18 volt Ryobi battery and it put out 18(ish) volts at the socket. ... show more

I like the layout of this set and it's features. That's what sold me on it. One of these days I will actually install it on my side by side. The wiring is convinently already done. terminals crimped amd plugged into each component. Install the hotwire and ground. You should be good to go. If you aren't connecting this straight to the fuse panel be sure to pick up an inline fuse to install between the unit and electrial source on the positive side. I know I haven't actually hooked this up yet but at this price and for what I using it on what could go wrong (famous last words) Really, the way I see this is once the panel is installed, the components are individually capable of being replaced easily and they are available as well as CHEAP.
