I tried this right after receiving it, first during the day, and then again at night. During the day, everything looked sharp and colorful. But the real “wow” moment came at night. At first, it was blurry, but once I adjusted the focus, I could see clearly even in complete darkness. Super impressive! The infrared works really well, letting me see far in the dark, even with no lights around. The 1–8x digital zoom helps bring things closer, and as long as you hold it steady and adjust the focus, the image is very sharp. Battery life is long, and it even comes with a 64GB memory card. Good for camping, watching wildlife, or even home security. Highly recommended if you want something fun and functional that really works.

Super cool and good quality night vision goggles that I got to watch the animals in the park and the woods. We also have many 4-legged visitors in our backyard at night. If I just want night vision goggles, these could rate a five. It takes the slightest light and lets you see the world at night. There is a red view and a grey/white view. I was impressed at night that I could focus on the boat dock about 125 feet away and in the night color mode clearly see the green palm fronds and the bright blue cover. The disappointing part was snapping the photo. When I hit ok, no matter how still I tried to be, it blurred badly. The video would probably be better because that is not trying to capture a moment in time specifically. Now, I got these because they did say they are also for daytime use and I really wanted to try to capture the Rosy Spoonbills on the island just south of my home. I would say the island is about 150yards away (these are supposed to be good for about .33 miles or 656yards), but despite it saying 8x, it didn’t make the birds appear any larger to me. The really huge disappointment was that with my bare eyes, I can see the pink of the birds with no problem at all, both sitting on the island and flying in the sky. But when I used these goggles, I could see no color of the birds at all(the sky was blue and the fronds green, but the pink birds looked white). So, for me, I am not happy overall. These goggles are Muse Platinum Award Winner for design-literature was in the box and the Muse website confirmed this- so they clearly are impressing others. I do like the large viewing screen. I found the buttons on top very hard to find organically (not easy to use, which kept me having to lower the goggles to put my finger on the correct button again and again). This might also contribute to the photo blurring, the need to constantly check the button location, re-focus and snap photo. I am glad this comes with a neck strap because I quickly found these heavy on my upper back holding them up. At least I knew they wouldn’t fall if my arms and back tired too much. Truthfully, I am a fairly strong 60 year old woman, I can carry a 40 lbs bag of salt. I was frankly surprised to see how light the weight actually is of these goggles . I am enclosing the photo, less than three lbs with the strap, yet I found them to be harder than my regular full sized binoculars. I can’t help but wonder if I am doing something wrong or if this is how they work. Items about 40-60 feet away with me pushing the ‘+’ button up to 8x did become significantly larger, but the birds about 1/3-1/2 the maximum distance barely seemed to change size at all and the color was lost that the naked eye could see. I am impressed with the night time quality especially for within 200 feet distance. I don’t like that the focus is just on the left ocular lens. I am far more used to a knob in the center. These do not bend like my old type binoculars. As I said if just for nighttime and not particularly far away, I think these are fascinating to get to see what is really out there. At one point while everything was grey a purple looking bug flew into my view. This I didn’t understand as it was on night vision. Two things to note; 1) this does not come with a charging block, which is likely not a big issue for most as many items owned today do have charging blocks 2) they provide no lens covers. This I think is a mistake. The carrying case will protect the lenses, but there is no strap for that, so how likely are you going to be exposing the ends to getting scratched. Also I tried to put the goggles away in the case with the strap and it caused the button to get pushed to turn them on every time I zipped the case closed. I did then figure if I put into case upside down and put the strap into the net, spreading it out then it did not turn the goggles on. These could both easily be improved upon. I would prefer the strap and covers to the case or have a way to connect the strap to the case to carry making carrying the case simpler as well. I hate being as negative, but it is a lot of money and it just didn’t preform as I expected based on binoculars and binoculars with a camera I owned in the past. I still don’t put this past operator error as it won the Muse award. So just good for thought…

This binocular is lightweight and very easy to use. I tested it in my backyard once I got it. The image quality is quite impressive. It can catch the chair from yards away clearly. The night vision works exceptionally well. It allows me to see clearly with no lights. The 3-level infrared light lets me adjust the brightness based on the surrounding light conditions at night. Can't wait to see animals in the woods.

This is a must have night vision goggles/binoculars. At first, I was skeptical about the price I paid, but I was surprised at how well it turned out. I could spot objects, and animals within 20 yards away, clear! Also, I could see leaves and branches on the tree while looking for owls. It comes with a very comfortable strap; I can carry it for miles without getting tired on my neck. Simple and easy to use, with buttons on top, you can easily select or change your viewing options. It also includes a mini SD memory card, a bang for your buck.
