Description

The AGM PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular is a rugged, lightweight, multi-purpose night vision device that has repeatedly proven itself in combat. The PVS-14 design was originally commissioned by the United States Military to enable nighttime operations. This monocular is used globally in some of the most challenging environments. The PVS-14 can be used as a handheld device, or mounted on the included head harness. With the proper accessories, it can also be mounted to combat helmets, providing night vision capabilities to daytime optical sights. The PVS-14 monocular conforms to 810G Military standards and demonstrates the highest quality form and function. The PVS-14 monocular is a full-featured unit. Weighing less than 12.4 ounces/ 0.32 kilograms. The unit includes manual gain control, an automatic bright light shut-off feature, and a built-in Infrared (IR) illuminator. The bright light shut-off feature ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected. AGM’s PVS14 includes an array of optional accessories to support virtually any operation.

Had 1 device with a huge artifact in Zone 1. Returned it because that's not ok with a level 1 unit. The unit i ended up with was 1490 FOM. No blems. Not the best gen 3 tube honestly, some static in low light, and bloom with bright lights but no wait-list, strong warranty, good return policy. I kept it. Also the focus lock is installed sloppy, it doesn’t stop at infinity it goes beyond. The eye piece ocular focus is also installed wrong but it works. It isn’t centered on zero it was centered on -2.     • Good goggles. Crisp image.
They are very good. It has some bright spots that flash like seeing a firefly. I never saw that in my military NVG but I only got to use the pvs-7. These are much clearer than the PVS 7 that I used. You can determine different people by sight.

I bought the 3AL1 sadly it was just a cheap plastic toy and for this price you can get a high quality unit at any reputable online retailer. I was really hoping the reviews were wrong but like others have stated I received a fake

The first item I received was a counterfeit. The second one was the actual device, BUT the tube has 7-8 spots that are very visible in the tube. This is supposed to be a lvl 1 PVS14. Seems I received the bottom of the barrel. Save up and buy L3

Beware of counterfeits. I should have paid more attention to the reviews as I’m not the only one. This was a counterfeit version of a PVS-14 with a digital screen inside, not green phosphor. Return initiated.
