Everything is top notch. I wanted a great pencil set because I started learning a foreign language. I also knew I would be taking voluminous notes. I was flying through erasers and noticed they did a poor job of actually erasing my mistakes. Every time I would use a different pencil and lead, the first thing I noticed was the lead was constantly breaking. Very frustrating. I was going through the lead refills too quickly. When I needed to correct my mistakes or add to my notes, if I had written on the page already, the lead would smear easily, and the erasers did not do a good job of getting rid of the writing when I wanted to rewrite. Then I realized the pencil did not feel comfortable in my hand when I was using it for over an hour. After I opened and started using this new set of pencils, lead refills, with the Nic-Pro erasers, I noticed all the problems I wrote about above were no longer an issue for me! It was truly amazing. I actually shared two pencils, lead and two small erasers and one big Nic-Pro eraser with a friend who is also learning this same foreign language. She too has really enjoyed these products and this showed me (a) not all mechanical pencils are the same, (b) even if I used the correct lead for the pencil, not all lead writes and erases very well. (c) Not all erasers perform the same. These Nic-Pro erasers made having to erase and rewrite not so frustrating. In fact, they worked so well, once you erase, it is hard to even know you wrote before on that same area. I really didn’t know what I was missing until I bought this set and another set. Please know this set met all of my needs and more. I honestly can’t say enough about how these pencils, lead, and Nic-Pro erasers have made my life easier. The case is actually pretty nice and stores everything included very nicely. I firmly believe Nic-Pro erasers are the best and they are not cheap! Thank you for making an amazing product that is also very price competitive to other manufacturers.

as a woodworker this is a great beginner set. the lead stays sharp but has an included sharpener. lots of different lead colors. the markers fit well on outline devices for woodworking. i really like the different projects it's worked with. helps make accurate cut lines. durable around the shop. but suggest keeping in the case. great value.

I’m a carpenter and I love these pencils. I cut pieces of wood all week long and these pencils with the red lead are fantastic. I wish I discovered these a long time ago. About 100 times better than the old style carpenter pencils. Plus it has a sharpener built in at the top. Five stars!! If you are a carpenter or do carpentry work I highly recommend. These pencils make my work a lot easier!

A great pencil set, comes complete with extra sharpened lead, and markers. Haven't used the markers as of yet, but have used the black pencil. It works as designed, leaves a darken mark that easily is removed with a bit of sanding, the sharpened lead is perfect for making the lines on wood. I am certainly pleased with the purchase and do recommend buying this product.

I have worked in the building trade as a carpenter/contractor for over 20 years. That said, I'm a little embarrassed to say it wasnt until very recently that I bought a set of these and started using them. Up to that point, I have always just used the squared contractors pencils you get at the box stores and sharpened with a utility knife. If all you're doing is framing or something pretty basic, just about anything will work. However, when it comes to finish carpentry such as trim, cabinetry, and other such projects where you need a really sharp, precise mark on your material, there really isn't anything better than these guys. The long, skinny end works in and around all kinds of nooks and crannies that a typical contractors (or regular old school style) pencil will not. Can't tell you how frustrating it has been needing to mark out screw/drill/hole locations in a really thick piece of material and not being able to do so because I honestly didn't even know these were around. Much less headache and hassle now and I really don't think I'll ever use anything else. I love that the lead is thick enough to not snap on you like a regular mechanical pencil inevitably always does, yet still thin enough to perform the aforementioned tasks. Also Soo nice to have a sharpener built right in to the end! This set comes with tons of extra lead, and in multiple colors, which has also been very handy if I'm marking fresh treated lumber or anything else that the normal graphite wouldn't show up well on.Bonus having the markers included as well, though I have a hard time replacing my Milwaukee permanent marker as it will mark through sawdust, sand, grease, grime, and wet material over and over. I have been telling all the guys I work with about these and they are starting to jump on board as well. I made the switch and won't go back. And, because this kit is soo affordable, I even bought a couple extra sets to make sure I always have in my tool pouch, packout cases, truck, and at home. Highly recommend, 5 stars all around!!!
