I ordered these tongs for our Golden (50th) wedding anniversary celebrations, for the fun of having the gold metal finish. These good-looking tongs arrived speedily in a set of four, tied together with baggie ties, and in individual packages to prevent scratching. The size is great for picking up almost anything from a platter - not too small, not too long. The price was economical. But I would have happily paid more to have tongs with a loop to slide down, to make them stay closed when not being used. That way they would fit better in a drawer or other storage location, and be better behaving sitting on a serving table. ... show more
