I purchased this shade for an odd shaped kitchen window above my sink (39" X39"). I needed the option to do blackout as I live in Las Vegas and we get 110+ degree days. These Blackouts also are insulated, and are very effective at blocking a lot of heat. Unboxing/Unbagging, it came in a standard amazon box and inside it was in a clear package, with the shade folded neatly. There were some wrinkles from the folds, so you may need to steam/iron them out before hanging. Since I was gathering them up and tying them, I just left it as is. (4 days later, the wrinkles have unwrinkled themselves out). The fabric is soft, and pliable, but fairly thick, it has the feel of microsuede. The grommets are well made and are shiny chrome in color ( if you need satin, or nickel pewter colors, this isn't a match). The color says Royal Purple, but this is more of a Plum color. I love it regardless, but if you are going for Royal Purple, this isn't it. I also have their panel curtains for my Sliding Glass door, and for my Living Room Picture window, and I also have the panels in my 2nd and 3rd bedroom. I liked the quality so much. I plan on getting one last pair for the master suite and we will have used Nicetown curtains for our entire house. I would highly recommend!!! ... show more

very nice! true to color! was expecting thicker material, but it still does it’s job well. one of them has speck like holes along the seam, but not noticeable unless you’re up close/the sunlight shines just right through them. i also bought the same color curtains in the regular straight ones and love them. the attached picture shows these curtains tied up in the middle so my cats could still lay in their cat bed and not tear the curtains down. that being said, awesome item for cat owners! i may even buy a third one for the middle part that’s open and showing the blinds, but yeah. good product for a good price, would recommend! ... show more

I bought this for my daughters bathroom window. It does not have blinds so I needed something that could keep the light out but also be used as her general window treatment. It is cute and feminine, and fits the small window perfectly. It is not 100% blackout, however I like how much light it does still let through when I undo the bow ties. The curtains themselves are nice! But I selected 63 W x 63 H, and noticed the measurements in the description are 46 W x 63 L. Thought I'd take the risk and assumed it was a mistake since the measurements I manually selected were 63x63, but they are in fact 46 W x 63 L and not wide enough for my windows. They are now sold out so I'm not sure when I'll be able to reorder. Dont make my mistake! ... show more

Fits the window perfectly, blocks light and prevents folks from seeing in. Love the color and it's easy to hang due to the grommets and weight. If I were better at tying bows it would probably look fabulous. Good quality fabric.
