We had some aging barstools and need to replace them. These came in a reasonably sized box. Everything arrived in the box and was easy to put together. There is one section on the bottom where the cross sections meet. Be careful putting the screws in so the threads are opposite the other side. I got this mixed up at first. The chairs are plastic or vinyl. They'll probably last a few years. I'd prefer real leather, but for the price, these are a good deal. The seats are quite comfortable and I can sit in one for a long time without needing to get up and stretch. These are nice barstools that look great in a modern kitchen. They're tall and sturdy and don't wobble or tip over as long as the surface is flat. My floor isn't completely flat so I cut up some cardboard and used it to level out the stools and they stayed stable. The backing looks and feels like leather and is easy to clean with a wet cloth.
