There is no way to control the humidity level. In the beginning you need around 35%. Then during lockdown between 70 to 80%. If you try to lower the humidity by taking the water out then all the unit does is beep beep beep. If I put water in it, it runs around 60 to 65%. That’s just too high for a good hatch.

Arrived 02/12/24. Hatched 1 batch of chicks. Went to start the 2nd batch today (3/19/24) and it won't turn on. Return window closed on the 13th. We've had budget friendly incubators in the past but this takes the cake on being bad quality. Update: I've updated from 1 Star to 3 because customer service has been top notch. Amazon customer service worked with me to allow the return after the window closed. Then, the seller reached out with options on how to make this right. For this reason I feel better Knowing that if I buy from this seller in the future that they will stand by their product.

Many of the lower end incubators out there are not worth the money you spend on them. I have now hatched a round of chicken eggs with it and I am ducks with it now.

Very poor hatching rate. 6 of 35 hatched. Having to take off lid every time to refill the water causes temp and humidity to fluctuate. Very difficult to control humidity.

Honestly, I love this product, EXCEPT, it does not have any kind of humidity display. You have no idea how much is in there. Thankfully high humidity shouldn't have too much effect (Not as much as not enough), so I'm crossing my fingers. The turning tray works great, the display for the temp works wonderful and it is VERY quiet. So you do not have to worry much about anything except the humidity. We shall see if my quails hatch, I will update. For now, I give it 3 stars, just because the humidity display is not as it said and they lie about having it in the description. Be more honest with your product listings.
