I realized it was too large for the cat I ordered it for, Plus it took so long to get here I didn't want to hassle with sending it back and getting a smaller one, so I just shopped for a smaller one and now I have both I have three cats so I needed it anyway.

Sturdiness good so far. Nice quality. Very spacious for larger cat. Padding easy to wash, but even with following instructions was hard to fit cover back over wood insert/base.

A lot of the soft carriers on Amazon are smaller than this one. We had one rather large cat whose legs we did not want to have to break to fit him in the carrier. This one was quite roomy for him. In fact, he jumped in it of his own volition. It's a nice shade of purple. It has lots of mesh windows and zippers. Even our most carrier adverse cat was fine with it. (Have you ever tried to cram a carrier adverse cat into a hard plastic carrier?) Nothing negative to say about it, though our wolverine did rip through it in about seconds, so for wild, aggressive critters, perhaps something a bit more substantial would be more approriate.

I love how many ways you can open the carrier! They have a dual zipper on the sides. One it seems to help supply support or for a slightly larger animal. And the smaller mesh zipper. The only issue I've noticed, which may be sturdier than expected, is the board that sits on the bottom. It has a nice cover that zips on that bottom board as well so you can replace it if needed. It just seemed a little flimsy for such a large case.
