Description

The EGO 56V 12.0Ah ARC Lithium™ Battery uses industry-leading technology to deliver Power Beyond Belief™. Its patented ARC Lithium™ design keeps the battery from overheating by pushing heat away so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, shock-resistant design protects batteries from drops and the elements. Intelligent power management monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize power, performance, and runtime. This 12.0Ah battery features a fuel gauge with built-in indicator lights that show how much runtime is remaining in 20 percent increments. The 12.0Ah battery fully charges in 75 minutes with the EGO POWER+ Turbo Charger (CH7000), 90 minutes with the Rapid Charger (CH5500), 160 minutes with the 320W Charger (CH3200), and 230 minutes with the Standard Charger (CH2100). Two 12.0Ah batteries will fully charge in 180 minutes with the EGO Power+ Dual-Port Charger (CH2800D). With the industry’s most advanced battery technology, every EGO tool delivers or exceeds the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss, or fumes.

I purchased a 12Ah EGO battery from Amazon, and it arrived in perfect condition. The battery was exactly as described, packaged well, and worked right out of the box. My only concern—and it's a minor one—is that I noticed the manufacturing date was about two years old when I received it. In hindsight, it makes sense that a seller may purchase batteries in bulk and some inventory could sit on the shelf for a while. The battery may be perfectly fine, and perhaps I'm overthinking it, but it would have been nice to receive one with a more recent manufacturing date. That said, I've been using the battery regularly since I purchased it and have experienced absolutely no issues. It charges properly, performs as expected, and delivers excellent runtime. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy again. Five stars for performance and reliability. My only suggestion would be for sellers to provide newer inventory when possible, or at least disclose the manufacturing date. ... show more

Better than the 10. I went with the 12 and now I can mow front and back without changing batteries. Definitely saves on gasoline every time and I get plenty of bang for the buck. and of course it fits on my trimmer and chainsaw and mower and blower.

12.0Ah EGO batteries hard to find locally, and this was a great option for quick delivery! I’ve put it through tons of charging cycles using my EGO snowblower and chainsaw. Running the two 12.0Ah batteries in my EGO Snowblower lasts about 4 full driveways (12 car driveway) worth of tossing snow 6”+ deep when it is fresh and fluffy. Needless to say it exceeds their advertised capacity even when running all accessories. I must charge them inside though when it is cold enough for snow, but this is a minor inconvenience considering the benefits these batteries have. ... show more

I own a variety of EGO batteries and the 12 amp battery helps me feel that I am ready for the the next rolling state black out or any storm that may cut power to my home. I use this battery for my EGO power inverter. 99% of the time I use this and other EGO batteries to power my EGO power equipment. Since 2021 I still have all my EGO batteries and they work as good as when I purchased them. I suggest you keep them dry and in a stable room temperature environment when not in use. 55 minutes discharge on a 3 degree grade through thick grass, 4-8 inches of growth, using assist feature selectively; ~50 minutes to charge, so you can rotate battery charging if you have a pair and be efficient. Good!

According to EGO's web site, Amazon, itself, is listed as an official reseller of this "EGO POWER+ Battery 56V, 12.0Ah - BA6720T". But, according to the reviews here, the other fly-by-night resellers that swamp Amazon's marketplace are not. So, I was very careful in making sure the batteries I bought were sold and shipped by Amazon (not by another reseller). Better yet, Amazon was having a sale on the things. So, yay! Anyway, once I got the batteries, I went through EGO's registration process (giving them the serial number, choosing Amazon as the reseller and uploading a copy of my invoice) without problem. So, I'm pretty sure the batteries are legitimate and warrantied. Once I was through with that, I dropped them into the last two open battery slots of our Z6 42" Zero Turn Riding Mower (the other 4 slots containing the original 10Ah batteries), plugged in the charger and everything charged up fine. We've used the mower just once since then and the increased capacity seems to be there as expected. So, I'm rating the batteries at a Very Good 4 stars out of 5. I dropped the rating one star because of the price. Yes, I got them on sale. But, they're still really expensive. ... show more
