This is my third Nexar DashCam. Not that the first two were trashed and no good. But this is good enough for me to buy one for each car. Price might be a bit much, but it is priced right for me. This is my first with rear facing second Cam. So I could see front and rear. Not. The rear facing is for cabin recording, not rear windshield recording. I will need to test if I could use extension to move the rear facing cam to the rear windshield. I don't like Nexar different type of mounting system. The first two I purchased were ball mount, and this third is slide mount. I mean the connections from the DashCam to the suction cup mount on the windshield. Why don't they, all Cam companies, just choose one type. Quality is good for day recording, but night recording is not as clear. I mean like license plate, which glow and not able to see the letter and numbers. Nexar doesn't have LCD screen. It has MicroSD to record in a loop. I am using max 128GB chip, which should last more days. For real time viewing, I need to connect to my smart phone with app and watch driving on the phone screen. Also, hope you are good with setup. Because sometime the app start recording automatically and sometime it doesn't. For me, now I just connect to my app before I start driving to make sure it does recording on my phone. But you could always get recording from the MicroSD card if you don't need to see while you are driving.

I’ve had my Nexar Pro dash camera since 2022, and it has been nothing short of excellent. The camera has always performed flawlessly, with no technical difficulties whatsoever. Recently, after years of use, the suction cup mount started losing its stickiness. When I reached out for a replacement, the customer service team was incredibly responsive and within just a few exchanges, I was connected to the right team, and they ordered a new mount for me. A special shoutout to Christian for providing outstanding customer service! I truly appreciate the support and look forward to many more years of use with this fantastic product. Highly recommend!

After ordering this Nexar Pro Dual Dash Cam multiple times due to fulfillment mix-ups, I finally received the correct model, and it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The dual-camera setup works very well for my intended use, providing both forward-facing road coverage and interior recording in a single compact system. Video quality has been clear enough to capture useful detail during both daytime and nighttime driving. Setup was straightforward, and the app integration is one of the stronger aspects of the Nexar ecosystem. The Wi-Fi connectivity, cloud backup features, and automatic event recording make the system feel much more modern and convenient compared to older standalone dash cams that require constantly pulling SD cards. The parking mode and AI event detection features also add a layer of peace of mind when the vehicle is unattended. What stands out most is how seamless it becomes once installed and configured properly. It records reliably in the background without requiring constant interaction, which is really what you want from a dash cam. I have a vehicle that has a front, rear, and interior dash cam built in. The app is so difficult to access. I purchased another camera that did front, rear, and interior. That camera is great but once again, the app is impossible to access. The main issue is that the newer cars use wifi for everything and you can't use the wifi on the dash cam simultaneously. So it's listen to music and get directions or access your dash cam. Here's where going back a small step works. I've have the Nexar Pro in another vehicle. I have had it for years. It works flawlessly. I have helped countless people that got into an accident around me by sending them a clip of the accident. This dash cam records beautiful videos and audio. The app is easy to use and makes perfect sense. The only thing that I don't like is that they replaced the patented sticker (that hasnt come off my other car in over 5 years) with they typical suction cup. I dislike it so much that I took a star off because I know that it will fall down eventually.

When this camera works, it works well. Unfortunately, about 80% of the time it does not work properly. Either it does not connect and stay connected to the phone, the image quality is distorted and discolored, or the video files end up being corrupt and cannot be reviewed. I have contacted customer service, and ran the battery down in my vehicle while waiting for them to respond (the camera had to be connected to the phone, so the key had to be turned or the vehicle running). I was involved in a car accident, and the camera would not connect to my phone. When I pulled the memory card and tried to review, the camera never recorded any part of that drive. This has ended up being a big disappointment. I believe I will just go back to the previous brand I had.

he Nexar Pro Dual Dash Cam has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Setup was incredibly simple, and the fact that it includes a 1-year app subscription with unlimited cloud storage is a huge bonus. I never have to worry about losing footage or running out of space. The video quality is crisp and clear, both during the day and at night—its night vision works impressively well. Started out well, app was consistent and easy to use. This is my second purchase after the first product stopped connecting to wifi, app stalled. When I reached out to customer service they said there was nothing they could do. Purchased a second one because I thought it was a fluke. Second camera is no longer integrating with the app. Wifi is not syncing properly. Will not purchase feom this company again, camera inconsistencies cannot happen when I need it to function properly consistently.

Why did I give it a 3 stars. Well I purchased it in 2022 and I had a 2017 Jeep and 2019 Chrysler Pacifica where Apple CarPlay was available via connection with a cable. So my iPhone WiFi was free to connect my Nexar. Now I have. 2026 Grand Highlander with upgraded technology and easy to use CarPlay via iPhone WiFi (basically no cable required) but I’m very disappointed I can no longer use my Nexar. Even purchasing the At&T WiFi for $20 bucks a month that gives me a hotspot it will not work!!!! I have to choose between Dash Cam or Apple CarPlay. Can’t do both together. What an absolute disappointment!
