OK let me begin by saying this is a beautiful chandelier and for the price, it's definitely a deal! I ordered this chandelier in the medium size, which has an 18" diameter and let me tell you, it's pretty big... And I love the size in my nook. It was a little hard to install however, as the instructions were not clear, and there's not enough space to fit a screw driver through the top mount to tighten, so my hubby had to tighten the screws with his fingers and all his might. But it was also not impossible. The wire going through the hanging chain is black, but that's an easy fix if you get some gray paint and are willing to paint it. The beads on the chandelier are a white washed, which is more like a dull gray color... so I painted mine white, and voila! Now I have a beautiful bright white chandelier. However, if you are looking to stick with the white washed look, the chandelier still is a beautiful addition. The pendant lights in my kitchen are from home depot, called Canarm Vesta 1-light pendant (for those of you interested). I had to paint those as well, as they come with natural wooden beads. So, I ended up painting all three of my lights, and now they are a perfect match and my kitchen looks absolutely beautiful!! ... show more

This light is beautiful! I looked at this light for nearly a year before purchasing it. It is everything I had hoped plus some. I purchased the big one for above my dining table. It's a 6 person table and although I could've easily gotten away with the medium I think the big is more of a statement piece and brightened our space considerably. My husband installed this light with ease removing all but 2 links, If you do not have high ceilings you will need to plan for this. I had read many reviews and expected to be down to 4 links but we needed to go to two. This also all but eliminated the ugly back cord, it is a fairly heavy piece and will require 2 for install due to the weight. I also left the product to air out for several days in the garage as it had a heavy paint/chemical smell initially but this has since dissipated. I 100% recommend this light, the beads look darker in the box than when hung so don't panic.. just buy it! :) ... show more

I used this for my new outside living space. I had just added a 700sqft cover deck that has full living and dinning areas. Down in Texas a big life porch is a big deal . In my dinning area of the porch I needed something just a bit extra. This fit the bill exactly Looked exactly as pictured , easy to assemble . went up in minutes. I put a regular white light bulb in it , but going to switch it up to a yellow anti bug light . No one wants extra protein in their lunch or dinner ... show more

I bought this to replace a ceiling fan in my living room. I preferred to have a chandelier in this room rather than a fan. I have 10' ceilings and took care with the size recommendations I found online. This fixture is perfect. I can't say enough about how lovely it is. The color of the beads coordinates perfectly with the stonework on my coffee table. My room is formal but not ornate and dressy, if that even makes sense. I will post a picture of it, but I've got a room full of Christmas stuff and will post later. I just couldn't wait to say how much I love it! We had an electrician hang it. He had no problems. We put in dimmable LED bulbs so we could choose the look we wanted. My friend was at my house while it was being installed, and she just wanted to sit in the room to enjoy how gorgeous it is.
