I'm so excited to share my experience with this ab machine! The idea that this one machine can help me target my legs, thighs, abs, and back was mind boggling for me but now that I have it assembled, I totally see it's versatility. Depending on the incline setting you choose, it will concentrate your workout on a certain area and it's super easy to use. Between all of my C-sections and back surgeries, my abs have taken hit after hit so now I have one machine to help me get it together with zero impact negatively affecting my back. That being said, the pads on this machine are everything!! They offer the comfort necessary to dig deep and push through the reps that will make a difference for me. If you're able to consistently increase the number of reps on a certain target area, you will find that's when it's most effective. That's difficult to do when you have metal poking at your knees. These pads allow you the comfort needed to focus on reaching your goal for maximum effectiveness. They support you in high impact areas to reduce any potential discomfort. The best thing about this machine is that it collapses into a reasonable size for storage and is so lightweight that you can pull it out and put it up with ease. This is an excellent value as it's very sturdy once assembled. I do think it's important to note that assembly is very time consuming and can be done without the instructions if necessary. You just need to be mindful of the fact that the seat has screws installed that you have to remove before assembling it. You have to attach the seat with the two large bolts and then push the cover plate down in between the foam pads. If you put the cover plate in at an angle you can use it to push the pads over enough for the cover plate to drop into position. Then you attach the cover plate to the seat base with the smaller screws and voila! This machine is a must have if you've had C-sections or back surgeries and you're cleared by your physician to exercise, in my opinion.

This ab machine is well-built and offers several nice features. The materials feel durable, the high-density foam padding is comfortable, and the sliding mechanism operates smoothly. It also includes a rep-counting sensor and screen for tracking time and reps. The foldable design and adjustable height/incline make it convenient for storage and customization to help progress/regress the difficulty as needed. However, assembly is frustrating due to very poor instructions. Just a series of pictures with numbered parts and no written instructions. Some of the screws are already on the machine and you have to unscrew them to attach a part. Some screws are hidden under tightly fitted foam padding, making them difficult to find and access. Additionally, the adjustment knobs feel slightly loose, which can make the machine seem less stable when you’re moving on it but overall feels mostly sturdy. The product claims “100+ training programs,” but provides no actual guidance or instructions for use, leaving you to rely on product images and going back to the Amazon listing to figure out how to even use it. Even the LCD screen setup is unclear, with the battery requirement only mentioned in tiny fine print. Overall, it’s a solid piece of equipment that delivers a good ab workout and stores easily. Once it’s setup, it works great! While the build quality is good, the lack of clear instructions and slightly wobbly adjustments make it feel a bit overpriced for $87.49. Still, I would recommend it for its functionality and convenience especially if space is limited!

I like that it folds up because it makes storing it away much more convenient when I’m not using it.
