This is a great little coffee maker!!! I needed this for our RV and it is the perfect size . I must confess I thought it was not working correctly when I tried to program it Then after really looking at it there i a sticker o the front that blocks the time and the programming. I thought it was not working because nothing was changing!!! SO be aware there is a sticker over the screen where the time displays!!! LOL . I love that you can make the brew stronger or regular which is perfect for suç a small appliance.. Size is perfect. Easy to program and clean. Really like the choice of having a strong brew option. Only negative comment is when you pour the water into the cannister you have to do it slowly or it will spill. Wish it had the spill proof lip on the coffee pot

I am a big fan of the small coffee pot. This one is easy to fill easy to clean easy to load up with your favorite grounds. I wish the shut off was a little more efficient, but I am not patient when waiting for my morning brew.

    • Good, but some things to consider
Style: Works With Smart Plugs
I picked this up when my old unit failed, liked the look and thought the swing out door was neat. After a few months of use I've found the swing out design limits where I can place the unit on my counter: because I need space to swing the door open I cannot have it tucked into a corner like my old maker, or placed next to the toaster, or the bread box, etc. And because you still put water into it from the top you don't really gain anything from having the swing out door - you cannot tuck it under a low cupboard for example, unless you want to pull it out to pour water into it every time. The swing out design also makes the unit more sensitive about the filters you use in it - if they are too tall even by a tiny bit, closing the door will fold the edge over and spoil your morning. All this said, the unit functions perfectly when used correctly and looks nice sitting on the counter. I think next time I will get a regular one however, where the water and coffee goes in from the top as there doesn't seem to be any real advantaged to this other than looking neat. ... show more

This is a decent little coffee maker. Coffee quality is going to be as good as the ground beans you use. I bought this to replace the Mr. Coffee mini pot I had for years - but the design was changed so I wanted to look for something else. I came across this maker and it seemed to be a good deal. It was right in the price range I was looking for. I don't really like that the grounds compartment swings out to the left side. The only place I can keep this on my counter is next to a wall (on the left) so I have to bring it out away from the wall every morning so I can fill the filter. I do like that it takes paper filters. We have a septic and I don't want to have to worry about the grounds going down the drain. The paper filters, with used grounds, go right into the compost. So that's a plus. Also the only place you can see how full the water is, is on the right side. Not terrible but I wish it was a little easier to read. I do like that the water is top loading and easy to add. You do have to add it slowly though so it has time to funnel down in to the base. It is fast! It brews coffee faster than my Mr. Coffee machine. That was a pleasant surprise. My biggest beef with this however is that EVERY single morning when I pour my coffee into my mug, it drips on the counter. Every. Single. Time. I have tried pouring slowly. I have tried pouring quickly. Every time I end up with coffee on my counter that I have to wipe up. It is very annoying. I am not sure if it is the lid or the shape of the pot but I cannot seem to pour it without making a mess. UPDATE on pouring... OK so after a couple weeks of pouring coffee and dripping all over the counter, I have learned that if you use your thumb to lift up the lid just an inch or so before you pour, it doesn't spill everywhere. Annoying but hey, I'm not wiping the same spot of the counter every time I pour a cup. Sometimes, on the second pour, condensation will drip off the lid when you lift it to pour - so just lift it and let it fall down to knock off the extra water then pour as described and you should be good!! I figured I would include this bit of info in case other people were having the same problem I was having. ... show more
