  • Sleek Fridge, looks and works as expected
This was the only glass door beverage fridge I could find that had the height requirement needed. It has a sleek design and nice LED light for display. This fridge is not meant to be built in, but works great in the existing hutch it needed to sit in. There is approx 1” of space behind the fridge, and breathing room on each side but still chills fine. I do not have it set to the lowest setting (set on 6) and have approx 70 cans in the fridge. They are all cold, but not as cold as a conventional fridge set to 38-40F. I would recommend and plan to try the lowest temp setting soon. ... show more

  • Nice addition
This mini bar fridge is a good addition to any household. I use it in my office and it makes getting hydrated more convenient. For the price, it is very elegant looking and functions great. It also isn't a pain to move around if you need to move it. Would highly recommend.

  • Good for the price
The media could not be loaded. We initially bought this because we needed a place to keep breastmilk cold after middle of the night pumps. I also wanted to eventually have a glass front beverage cooler, so this product killed two birds with one stone. For the first 6 months, it lived in the master bathroom under a vanity, and it did keep things cold. It was pretty loud, as many reviewers have noted, but that was in the context of a quiet master suite. The sound is not so problematic in it’s new home, which is in a common living space. That being said, it’s not without it’s cons. As you can see in the video, the set-up is very tight and it’s a little annoying to move cans in and out of the fridge. There’s often condensation on the outer glass, so we have to keep up with wiping it dry. But here’s the thing - for only a few hundred dollars, we have a really nice-looking fridge that keeps drinks cold. If it were better designed, it would cost more. I’ve found it to be pretty, and functional in it’s primary duty of keeping drinks cold. ... show more

  • Near silent and it gets cold enough to freeze drinks
This thing runs near silent, it keeps my drinks really cold some of which if I have them right up against the back will be frozen, and once it's done chilling everything for the first time it will shut off and start to cycle and you'll barely notice it even run. Go new air! ***Update 2/21/2024*** So far nothing exiting to report, this fridge is pretty quiet, very efficient, and gets cold enough to freeze and explode cans of soda that are kept at the back if you don't drink them regularly. This would do great as a mini countertop display fridge at a business, but it is small enough that someone who wants a minifridge could fit this into they're bed room or gaming room. I learned that during a cooling cycle that the sides of the fridge will get uncomfortably hot to the touch, and there is no condensing coil on the back as with most refrigerators. You do not need to leave the space at the back for the condenser to cool of the fridge, but you can't use this model for built in (like under a counter like a dishwasher) uses, it must be left free standing so it can breathe. ... show more

  • Barely works. Awful performance. Returned
I picked this drink cooler so I could have cold drinks from my garage when I did yard work. It’s pretty compact so that was ideal. However, it performs terribly. I followed all the directions EXACTLY before I even plugged it in. You have to wait a few hours after it arrives with it standing upright before turning it on to make sure not to damage the compressor because of shifting fluids that could have occurred in transit. I waited. Then I plugged it in and left the temp control knob alone, like it says, and let it run for a few hours with nothing in it for the temp to stabilize, like it says to do. I finally put sodas and water bottles in it and made sure not to overload it, again, like it says. I made sure there was plenty of clearance around all sides of the unit, even exceeding the recommended clearances from the manual. I checked the temp on a little hanging thermometer I bought specifically for this fridge and it said it was at 60F. It didn’t bother me too much that it was this high because I had just put drinks in and I knew it would take awhile to cool that many drinks down. I left for work and got home 10.5 hours later. The temp in the fridge read 58F. I was worried it hadn’t dropped much after being gone for so long but I just figured it’s because it holds so many drinks that it must take awhile for it to cool them all down. Fast forward 5 days… the temp never got below 53F, even after turning the control knob to the max setting and letting it run for a couple more days. The listing for the product, and it says this in the manual too, says that it cools drinks to 37F, but mine isn’t even getting close despite me following all the directions precisely and waiting ample time for it to do its job. The door wasn’t ever left ajar, the seals were fully intact and engaging like they should, it wasn’t exposed to direct sunlight, and my garage hasn’t been warmer than 70F, which is even a little cooler than inside my house. I can’t imagine that this cooler wouldn’t be designed to work well in at least average home temps. I read online that placing a small fan inside a mini fridge can help circulate cold air better so I bought a little fan that fits on the bottom shelf. The fridge doesn’t have a fan of its own so I thought maybe air circulation was the problem. I let that run for a couple days and checked again. The lowest temp it reached was 50.3F. So I guess the fan helped, but it’s still not nearly as cold as it’s supposed to get. The drinks are colder than room temp, so that’s better than nothing. But if you don’t chug the drink within 5 minutes of taking it out of the cooler it’s already back to room temperature. I have a little $50 mini fridge that only holds 6 cans of soda that I keep in my office at work. It doesn’t even have a compressor, it just uses a heat sink and a tiny fan, and it still performs better than this does. For over $300, this fridge is a massive disappointment. Returned. Will not be buying another product from this company. ... show more

  • THIS IS THE ONE!
The NEWAIR 84-CAN BEVERAGE COOLER I purchased for my Home Salon is exactly what I expected! However, when it arrived the first time, the driver left it in the driveway - not the front door - we opened the box - one of the door's glass panels was completely shattered. Thanks to Amazon's great Customer Service they immediately sent a replacement - received a day early. The driver put it at the front door - we opened it and discovered a Cool Lookin Fridge, not bulky, not too big or small, just Freakin Right!... Drinks are Cold and the Little Night Light adds ambiance Go ahead, GET IT! :o) ENERGY GUIDE says Yearly Operating Cost is $53 - 498kWh. ... show more
