    • Cheap speakers but at least they should work??????
As soon as we received it, I heard something rattling around in the box. The magnets fells of the subwoofers. When I reattached then and went to hook it up they subs didn't even work. I heard music coming out of the tweeters but subs were gone. I was expecting a cheap speaker box for my kid for Christmas, but at least they should work? My expectations weren't that high and I was still disappointed. ... show more

I bought these for 70$ such a good deal, I used these as loudspeakers In my friends car hooked up to a 200 watt pyle dual channel amp (one channel per side). There not for deep bass like subwoofers but they play music so loud it's crazy. I have them in the trunk Infront of 2 12 inch subwoofers on a sony xplod 500w rms amp. Again I didn't buy these for deep bass but instead for midbass and highs, and boy these things are loud!! Didn't want to replace the factory speakers so I got this and a second amp insted. The carpet is really well done, the tweeters are crazy loud, the 10s actually move quite a bit and put out great bass, the box is sturdy, and it seems to have a piece of wood in the middle to separate the chambers. The bad is that the plastic terminal cups are just fitting the box so you can pull them out with your hands (I fixed with some glue) not much bad about this purchase in my experience. For people who don't know about audio, if you hook these up to a subwoofer amplifier or a low pass filter they would only be playing bass. That's obviously not what this was designed for. This setup is for the full range of music it plays highs with the tweeters, and bass/mid bass/vocals with the large loudspeakers. There is no low pass filter crossover in this box this is a full range speaker. Yes you could turn the bass boost up and have these bumping but you would probably ruin them pretty quick If you want bass, buy a subwoofer, if you want loudness buy this. If your on a budget throw this in your trunk, unhook your back speakers, and run wires to this box from the speakers to run off your factory radio, it will be a great upgrade! ... show more

    • Speakers are trash, box is well built.
The box and tweeters are the only reason you should buy this. They're sturdy and work well with better 10" speakers. The two 10" speakers it came with were absolute trash and I blew them within 5 minutes of having them. I replaced them with two 10" 1k watt Pyle subwoofers and powered the whole thing with a 2k watt Pyle amp. Great sound, great bass. ... show more

Don't waste your money on this product!! it is seriously the biggest piece of crap! we had a replacement sent because the first one didn't work at all after having it professionally installed and the second one didn't work at all either!! thanks for wasting my time and I now have to buy something else as this was a gift for my son!! ... show more

Ok lets review this. Its rated at around 300w i think and thats peek so if you slap a 1000w and 1500w amp to it and wonder why it blew then......i used it as a home theater sub but if you dont go crazy with the power they sound pretty nice i think its 50$ sooo. You cant buy a 5 dollar car wash and wonder why your car isnt as clean as a 50$ detail right?? Whatever the case. There pretty good for the money and if you know what your doing they should work good ... show more
