This is a sturdy scoop. I have an ice maker that makes soft ice which clumps together in the ice bin. With this I can chop the ice apart and scoop it into a cup. This has a rustic, farm house look. It says to hand wash only which is not a big deal for me. I am using it for my ice bin but it would be great for many things such as cat food, sugar, flour and candy. t
