The media could not be loaded. The fan works well and I like the "chillpill" feature very much, but the configuration is awkward to hold and falls over easily when placed on a surface. Accessories to clip it onto clothing or other items are a separate purchase and rather pricey for what they are. I haven't tried the misting feature as I live in a high-humidity climate that makes that type of feature pretty useless.

This is one of those products that people will either love or not understand at all. If you don’t really get the technology behind it or how it’s meant to be used, it might feel overpriced or unnecessary. But once you do, you start to see where the value is. Is it expensive? Yes. But if you want a high-quality battery, fast charging, and a device that can cool down in seconds, that comes at a cost. This is not just a fan, and it’s definitely not meant to replace a basic desk fan. You can get a simple fan for $20 if that’s all you need. The fan itself is important, but I wouldn’t say it’s the main feature. Because of its small size, it needs higher RPMs to move air, so it can get a bit noisy if you’re using it just as a fan. That said, the fan’s main role is actually to support the cooling system. The real highlight is the cooling head. It uses a Peltier system, which pulls heat from one side and transfers it to the other. That process requires power and generates heat, which is why the fan helps cool it down. The result is a surface that gets cold very quickly. When you place it on your neck or areas with good blood flow, you can feel an immediate cooling effect. It’s honestly great for hot days or even headaches. For everything it does, it’s surprisingly compact. It also looks good and feels well built. The mist feature is another nice addition, especially if you’re traveling to dry areas or even sitting on a plane where the air is very dry. I’ve seen some comments saying the attachments are sold separately, but mine came with everything needed, so I didn’t run into that issue. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and charges with USB-C, so you can plug it in pretty much anywhere. For me, it’s a bit of a game changer. It’s always in my backpack, and I end up using it more than I expected.

First one that was sent was defective but the replacement works well and it took several weeks for a replacement so -1 star for that. I bought this specifically for the cooling plate to help with migraine pain. It does not get anywhere near as cold as ice but it still helps to relieve some of the migraine pain and it's something I can easily bring along so it's worth the cost to me. It also provides some soothing to an ongoing wrist issue. If you take the chillpill off your skin for a few seconds, it cools down a lot so it helps to amp up the coldness for relief. It also feels good as a cold massage because of the smoothness and slightly convex plate. I have not tried the fan or mister, yet, so no review on that but for the cooling plate, it helps with pain so I recommend trying it if you have any.

The media could not be loaded. This Personal Cooling System makes great use of 3 separate attachable tools to choose from to best achieve cooling comfort. The main unit itself has a twisty knob on one end to control the power and the setting of the piece that is attached. For instance, when the fan attachment is locked in place, it allowed me to increase and decrease the fan speed appropriately. Pressing the turn dial in properly turned the power on and off as expected. Here are the 3 main attachments and how I experienced them: 1. The Fan Attachment - When attached, a number displayed, that when increased or decreased, caused the fan to be more and less powerful as fitting. This was the most straightforward, and it was quite powerful at the highest speed but I would say comparable to standalone turbo fans. This wasn't as standout as the other two attachments but was certainly very nice. 2. The Cooling Plate Attachment - When attached, and power was provided, a snowflake appears on the dial display, and there was an option of essentially selecting a low and high level. This plate cooled very fast and stayed cool while it was against my skin. Literally, less than 5 seconds and it was quite cold. In my experience, these kinds of plates end up absorbing the coolness and it requires removing the plate and waiting for it to get cold again before reapplying it to my skin, but this one stayed cold the entire time that I kept it on my skin. 3. The Misting Attachment - This was one of the most complicated attachments to work with, but the benefit of setting it up far outweighed the effort that it took, in my opinion. This attachment has a lid that contains a filter and a reservoir for water. It is pretty easy and straightforward to open. There were also 3 extra filters included and recommended to change out the filter every 30 days. I wasn't expecting having to deal with a filter, but it would have been nice if it was washable or reusable. The reservoir holds a very small amount of water so replacing it as needed wasn't difficult. I would be confident that a bottle of water would last this misting feature all day if supplied with the appropriate amount of power. There is an opening at the other end of the attachment that can be adjusted to let out a wider stream of mist to a narrower longer stream. This took a minute of practice to get right, but it works great. The amazing thing is that the unit can be tilted upside down or any direction and maintain its misting stream and capability. The power dial shows a droplet symbol recognizing that it is using the misting attachment. Aside from the attachments, the middle of the unit twists and holds position nicely at certain spots to act as a nice stand on a flat surface. Also, the battery charging feature is very simple and uses colors instead of percentages to represent the battery status. There were only a few things that I noticed that were minor inconveniences and could be problematic long-term. For instance, the locking mechanism of the misting attachment took extra effort every time that I attached it and tried to lock it in place. The other two attachments slid in and locked in place with ease, but this one required about 3 times as much effort to lock it in place. Sometimes I thought it was locked in place when it wasn't. Another minor thing is that the cooling plate scratches very easily once the protective film is removed. Overall, this has a lot of awesome features and helped me cool myself on some really hot days in different ways.
