Despite the delay in shipping time, my family is absolutely delighted with the quality and aesthetic of these stools for our end cap on the kitchen island. To class them up, I replaced the steel finished hardware with a brass finish (because the rest of our kitchen hardware is brass) - and the hardware is a bit of an eye sore on these chairs. I absolutely love this barstool, it perfectly matches & complements our farmhouse style bar height kitchen table from Ashley Designs (also purchased on Amazon). I did have to exchange 1 of the 2 stools due to a defective barstool leg, but that was not a big problem. Initially I was impressed with the quality of the first of three stools I purchased but upon assembly of the first stool I discovered that the screws supplied to attach the frame to the swivel plate were too short to do this. I purchased new screws to complete the build for this stool as well as the additional two stools. Upon opening the second package I saw a substantial chip in the round stretcher. In order to finish the job I needed to purchase 12 bolts and I'm still looking for the right color stain to cover the chip. This is a very nice solid, heavy stool. Swivel works nicely and assembly was very easy. My wife sprayed the fabric with Scotch Guard........grandchildren you know!
