My old beard trimmer gave up the ghost after 15 years, so I hopped on Amazon to look for another. It is kind of crazy how expensive some of the trimmers out there can get. Norelco is a recognized name and so I was comfortable taking a “chance” on this trimmer. It works flawlessly and comes with three heads and more than a dozen attachments (I only use a couple). Maybe I just had my old beard trimmer too long and am like a wild-eyed kid with this new one. First, it's cordless with a lithium ion battery which means long-life and excellent up-time. Secondly, the multitude of attachments make it extremely versatile but the quick-swap of these make all these relevant to every day use on various body parts. I trim my beard to about a 3mm stubble but I have the flexibility to change this on the fly for the look I feel like without the hassle of fighting parts. Great product with LOTS of attachments. Works well for me. Very quiet. It does have a quirk that had me boxing it back up until I accidentally figured it out. I received it and immediately put it on a charger and, out of curiosity, turned it on to see what it sounded like. Nada. Nothing. Wouldn't turn on. I left it on the charger for a few hours but still it wouldn't turn on. So I unplugged it and started boxing it up to return and when I accidentally hit the button it worked. I tried different things and confirmed everything is OK as long as it is NOT CHARGING. Odd but perfectly acceptable once you know. (User manual doesn't mention this 'feature'). ... show more

I was using 2 different trimmers before, one for close trimming (non "biting" trimmer) and one to do the bulky work with a guard. This one gets both done, with zero nicks, but is a little more stubborn about catching all the hair without needing several passes. Even with that it's still a great all in one trimmer. I really like this trimmer; it is light weight and very versatile with all the heads and attachments it comes with. It is easy to use and change the heads. It works great on side burns, facial hair, and body grooming however I don't think it would last for cutting my hair (I use bigger clippers for this). ... show more
