I have enjoyed the Atoto A6PF so much that I purchased a second one for my 2010 Lincoln Town Car (factory premium sound). Also bought the Metra installation kit (95-5810) and the radio harness (70-5521). During installation, I trimmed the top front corners by 1/8" so that the adapters would fit more flush to the radio. Also, moved Pin 18 (LB-RD) of the factory harness to match the unused power antenna (blue) of the Metra harness; this is for the steering wheel control signal - no additional interface is needed. The Atoto features that were most appealing to me were the FM radio, Google Maps with GPS navigation, Wi-Fi Hotspot (to download maps locally), 36-band equilizer, USB music, and the 7-inch touchscreen with 6 physical buttons. Since the car has rear parking sensors, I did not install a rear-view camera - I did install a camera on the first car and it works great. Convert your CD's to mp3's, save them to a USB, and you can listen to many hours of your favorite music. Download a region from Google maps and you get voice and visual directions while enjoying your tunes. The only caveat was the factory amplifier produces a clicking sound if turned on through the Atoto settings. You can either turn off the amplifier or install a Line Out Converter to remedy the clicking. I am very satisfied with the sound quality using the factory speakers and subwoofer and the display resolution is fantastic - much improved upgrade over the original factory unit (which had a temperamental volume knob and broken CD changer). Would I recommend buying an Atoto A6PF? Most certainly, fits my needs perfectly and this is my second installation. I plan to buy a 3rd A6PF for another car in the near future. I was also impressed with the 18-month warranty when registered through the Atoto website.

Pretty straight forward install. Switched my JDM Toyota hilux surf over to a US spec radio with this unit. Not super powerful and initial navigation of software is a little confusing/janky. Once you sort it out to your liking it's great for the average person that just wants to use Android Auto/car play for maps and music and doesn't need the absolute highest quality of sound. I had to make some small modifications with a n angle grinder to get the supplied universal brackets to work with my OEM toyota bracket but it fits in nicely and looks pretty good. For the price you really can't beat this unit for all of the features it offers. I may buy another for my old van as well.

I've used this stereo in my vehicle for a few years now, and can give my opinion on long term use. 1. Sound quality: it sounds fine. For regular users, it will be fine. Over the years I've developed more audiophile ears and I can notice lack of perfect clarity, but if you're not coming from an audiophile experience, you'll have no complaints. 2. Hardware features: it works well for what it says it does. Good screen quality, good microphone quality(it includes an external mic), gps antenna works properly, subwoofer out is good. Does not have rca speaker output, which means you can't bypass the amplifier and use an external amplifier if the audio is not clear enough for you. It DOES have AV video input. Which I assume is meant to be an option for connecting a life feed camera, however you can use whatever. So I used an HDMI to AV converter and hooked up my Nintendo Switch to it. A fun trick to have. 3. Software features: it's running android, which means it can do most of what an android tablet can do. Due to Play Store restrictions, you cannot download certain apps, like Netflix or Disney+, however if you download an alternate app store via Chrome, this is no longer an issue, albeit a risk. The software is not perfect. It is a modified trimmed down version of Android to optimize it as a car stereo. This removes some features but most of which you won't miss. I did have occasional crashes and difficulty updating. This unit cannot update over the air, and needs a flash drive to be able to update. The issue is that the updates will only happen if the system recognizes the update files on the flash drive and chooses to prompt. There is no way to force the update, and for my most recent unit, it refused to recognize the update files in all circumstances and after all troubleshooting. 4. Customer Support: not bad at all. They respond to emails within their office hours and will guide you through troubleshooting. They helped me solve a few different issues. Due to them being in China, I had to wait about 24 hours between responses, but it worked slowly but surely. 5. Performance: it is not a fast device. The processor and ram are limited and can be slow loading many applications. It does work eventually. Some bugs are continuous and you have to work around them. For example, Android Auto will only work via a wireless or wired connection. It will not work if both are connected, and be stuck ok a waiting and trying to connect loop until it is only connected via one of the two. 6. Value for money: It's really tough to beat this. While not perfect, you will have fun with it. Especially if you're coming from a stock stereo, or you're new to android stereos, you will enjoy messing around with this. I like to run an emulator on it and connect a controller to make it an in-car game system. The options are endless. I cannot speak for how this compares to premium android units yet, but for the sheer openness and acceptable reliability for the product, it's well worth the price I laid at $200.

Works great. good support. the wireless android auto works flawlessly. It's actually more of a pain to STOP it from connecting than to get it to connect. The 7" atoto a6 fit great in my 06 Impreza. I did have to drill some additional holes in the supplied mounting plate to get the angle correct. And I had to trim the OEM facia a bit. But it looks factory now. Honestly if I had to to do over I might save my money and energy and buy a 9" one that mounts outside the facia and a little closer to me. But I've already invested in this one, and it works great. I got the atoto rear cam also, and it works well. I like I can view it whilst not in reverse. It boots pretty quickly, at least as fast as new can OEM cams (I still wish it were ever faster). The atoto steering wheel controller I got also, and it is fair. Porbably the best I can hope for. The EQ on this head unit is really nice. total DSP control. You can't specify the db/octave on the crossovers, but... meh. I don't have a subwoofer hooked up yet, but soon I hope. The touchscreen is adequate. Better than my OEM 2017 Buick, not as good as the 2025 rental cars. The brightness is adequate. Note: the pairing USB does not provide hardly any juice to charge a cell phone. So it's great that the wireless android auto works so well, b/c I have to charge my phone on a regular charger. I will say the actually android OS is kind of shoddy. If you try and use the build in OS to run maps, it can't handle anything else at the same time (streaming music) very gracefully. But if you just use the EQ on the head unit and then use android auto for everything else, it's great. Anyway, overall, you can't beat the value. I feel it's WAY better than even the most expensive 7" name brands like sony, pioneer, etc.

I purchased the ATOTO A6G2A7PF to bring my 2011 Nissan Xterra into the modern era. While it looks nice in the dash, the performance and software bugs make it difficult to recommend. The Pros: Responsive Screen: The touchscreen itself is quite snappy and responsive to input. GPS: I found the GPS to be fast and accurate. Modernizes the Dash: It does succeed in making an older vehicle feel more current. The Cons: Weak Connectivity: Both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are unreliable. Even parked right outside a house, it struggles to hold a 2.4 or 5GHz Wi-Fi signal. Furthermore, the "second Bluetooth" is very sketchy; while it connects to my old flip phone, it fails to pair with more modern devices like my Odin 2 Max or a Bluetooth mouse. Underpowered Hardware: The processor feels like it belongs in a decade-old phone. There is a 2–3 second lag when using voice prompts, and apps are very slow to load. Software Framework Issues: The OS is missing key components. Apps like file managers and image pickers crash or get stuck in permission loops. Even the dedicated "Boot Logo" app fails to work; the instructions are vague, and every attempt to set a custom logo has failed. Hardware Faults: The trim ring won't stay on, and the RCA outputs are too weak to trigger my amplifier's automatic turn-on. Backup Camera Bug: Using the recommended ATOTO backup camera, I get a "No Signal" black screen in reverse, even though the camera works fine through the Aux input. Final Thoughts: There is almost no documentation on their support portal to troubleshoot these issues. I have emailed tech support regarding the camera and connectivity bugs, but as it stands, the ancient hardware and buggy software outweigh the benefits.

This is a great android radio with outstanding overall value and lots of features but its biggest drawback is that it interfere with TPMS sensors. I purchased this radio a year ago, and i'm impressed with the value and features it has: The sound quality is very good, it has wireless carplay and android auto, fast boot, a responsive screen and more. The good things: -Very good sound quality, the dsp processor creates cristal clear sound and has a lot of adjustments for crossover, equalization and more. -Steering wheel controls support with the proper adapter for your car model. -Good connectivity for wireless carplay: connecting the phone to carplay takes a while when the radio starts and often it connects but 2 of each 10 times it gets stuck trying to make the link with the phone and the only way to fix it is by restarting the radio holding the power button until it turns off and the android logo appears to restore the carplay link connection. -Bright and responsive display with no noticeable lag. -If the car came equipped with a reverse camera, it can be wired to connect it to this radio. -RCA outs and remote amp control. -More android apps can be installed, its basically an android tablet with car stereeo hardware. But here are the cons: -It will interfere with tire pressure sensor communications between the car control module and the wheel sensors. If the car has tire pressure sensors on each wheel operating in the 315 MhZ frequency, this radio will cause an interference that won't allow communication between the central car module and each wheel. This behavior has been observed also in other android car radios and this is not fixable. You will have to drive with the TPMS light on in your dashboard and this could be a problem at the time of car inspections. Maybe sensors operating in other frequencies are not affected but this happened in a 2012 Mazda CX-9 and it was verified that the radio is the source of interference by pulling the radio fuses to completely shut it off. Then after a test drive the dashboard light went off and the error code dissappeared. But it came back when the radio was turned on again. -The display brighthess and dimmer adjust is tricky and limited. Sometimes the screen will be too bright for the night and it cannot be adjusted low enough. In a car with automatic lights, the screen will dim too low in bright sunlight just because for some reason the headlights got turned on. The radio doesn't have a light sensor and it cannot sense voltage from the dash illumination wire, meaning that if the dashboard lights are adjusted at a lower brightness the radio will not adjust accordingly. -RCA outs are 2v so even when the volume is cranked to the max the music is not loud enough even with an external amp. -Hands free calls are not very good. There is a lot of noise and interference captured when driving at highway speeds and trying to talk through the handsfree system. The radio lacks an effective noise cancellation system. -Carplay has issues to connect from time to time. Sometimes the radio has to be restarted to fix the problem. It doesn't happen all the time but frequent enough to be a little annoyance. -Some apps like bluetooth audio and radio are poorly designed from the aesthetic point, this could be fixed with skin loaders but I never tried it. Overall, this is a good radio for the price and a great value for the features it has and if you always use carplay or android auto the driving experience is enjoyable. However, the TPMS sensors is a big drawback and there is not a workaround for this. It just cannot be fixed. I tried all the possible remedies to isolate the interference but it didn't work.

Really like this thing for this price... this thing is Unique, its essentially and Android tablet, with all the tablet features that runs car play and android auto. fist, If you have installed a radio before you should be ok with this thing but there are a couple of things that were not straightforward. First, if you plan on adding extra cameras besides a standard backup camera (which is like other aftermarket radios) it will be USB. It has 2 USB cords out, one for Carplay/AA and one for "External Storage" which is what you should use to connect other cameras (or other things, Mouse?, whatever USB device I assume). So I bought the Front facing Atoto DVR camera, it was USB. (As a side not a USB hub allows for more than just one device to be plugged into the tablet, i used one and it worked great). One issue I wanted to note, I cannot remember the number of Metra kit but the radio did not fit into the mount. I had to dremel the inside of the metra plasting housing to get it to fit. I would guess the Radio is about 1/16" too tall. Not sure though. Maybe it was just a bad Metra kit. I just got this thing Installed and really excited to start messing with some of the features. The all around cameras seems really cool for trailering boats, parking, etc. Bottom line, I am going to buy more of these for upgrading my other vehicles. They all already have Car Play but this is an upgrade.
