I was looking for a Mac to purchase for some entry-level music creation, mixing, production, etc - but also looking for something to just have for typical portable computing things I would find pretty inconvenient on a smartphone. Never owned a Mac before, so the choice fatigue was REAL. I purchased the 512GB storage, 8GB RAM model, and so far it is perfect for what I need. I have high standards for technology and performance, being in the IT field, and this laptop knocks it out of the park. The performance for what you pay for is incredible (and that's not to say this laptop is a budget system). The M1 chip more than keeps up with my audio workflows, multiple applications open, etc. MacOS is so optimized and balanced that you would never notice this device has 8GB of RAM. Initially I returned my first refurbished M1 air and got the new M3 air because I wasn't fully aware of what it was capable of. After using the M3 air for about a week, I realized it was actually TOO overpowered for what I am looking to use it for. Returned it, and got this refurbished M1 air. Bottom line, if you need something for light-to-medium creative work with amazing battery life, build quality, and something that just keeps going and going, this is a perfect choice. On to the refurbishing quality. It's perfect. The battery must've been replaced, because it has 100% health, which is awesome to see on a refurb system. The screen is perfect as well. Not even a micro scratch. Keyboard is perfect as well. All around, the system is like brand new. It was either VERY well taken care of by the previous owner, or the components were replaced to make it resellable. Either way, it's perfect in and out. Compre este producto esperando tener una computadora mac. Sin embargo a los 2 meses de adquirirla, ya no cargó la bateria. Solamente funciona conectada. Reporte al vendedor porque aun estaba dentro de la garantía y me indico que podian realizar un reemplazo o reembolso. Escogí el reemplazo y me enviaron las instrucciones y la guia de envío. Pero me encontraba fuera del país y solicite una guia de envio internacional y no quisieron darmela. Entonces solicite que me pudieran extender un mes la garantía para poder regresar al pais y hacer la devolución pero pasaron los dias y no obtuve respuesta. This is one of the best laptops I can recommend. Its Great thats really all there is to say. I use this for mainly multi-media purposes. It is great at that. The M1 chip is a beast, needs no fans, and CAN do mild gaming. It sounds good and the picture quality of the display is what you'd expect; very good. Obviously since it's a mac its easy to use, and made well as it is solid aluminum. A timeless design. Its got basically a 500gb SSD so its got decent storage and its fast, but I also use a samsung usb type c flash drive thing for most my media to not max it out instantly. I really do like the track pad too, I normally am very picky about them and don't like most very much at all. However I have always liked the mac ones, and this is not exception is as really responsive and a good size. I got mine for around $700 or so and I could not love it more. I have it for over a year and a half with no issues! FYI there is only 2 type c ports and 1 headphone jack on this laptop ... show more

Seems nice so far I bought one that was supposed to be in excellent condition and it does have a ding on one of the corners I was a bit upset to see it didn’t come with the original apple charger but so far it seems ok.

Exactly as described. Item in Excellent condition. Good-not great battery life (86%) but still holds up very well. No noticeable dents, dings or physical imperfections to the laptop. All in all very happy.
