Description

Philips Avent Natural Response baby bottle nipple lets babies control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipple's unique opening and tip only release milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast- shaped nipple that mimics the soft feel of a breast. The nipple has a no-drip design which helps prevent lost milk from the tip. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. Every baby feeds differently and develops at their own pace. We’ve designed a range of flow rates so you can find the perfect one for your baby and personalize your bottle. We are transitioning to a pace-based flow navigation system. The Natural Response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's development. Start with the nipple that comes with the bottle. Try a lower flow if milk is leaking from baby’s mouth or baby is gulping. Try a higher flow if baby is playing with the nipple instead of drinking or seems frustrated. It is totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new feeding bottle. Use Philips Avent Natural baby bottles only with Philips Avent Natural Response nipples. ¹ IQVIA Health ProVoice Survey 2025, USA

  • Philips AVENT Natural Response Baby Bottle Nipples - Perfect for Growing Babies!
Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Flow 3
The Philips AVENT Natural Response Baby Bottle Nipples have been a game-changer for my baby's feeding journey. As my little one has grown and started to require a faster milk flow, these nipples have provided the perfect solution. Designed for babies aged 1 month and older, the Philips AVENT Natural Response Nipples in Flow 3 are reliable, comfortable, and an excellent addition to the feeding routine. One of the key features of these nipples is their natural response design. They closely resemble the shape and feel of a mother's breast, making it easier for the baby to latch and transition between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. This helps maintain a natural feeding experience and reduces confusion for the baby. The Flow 3 nipples are specifically designed for older infants who require a faster milk flow. As babies grow, their feeding needs change, and the increased flow provided by these nipples accommodates their developing feeding abilities. The faster flow rate ensures efficient feeding while still maintaining control and reducing the risk of choking. Like all Philips AVENT products, these nipples are made from safe materials that are free from BPA. This provides peace of mind to parents, knowing that their baby is using a product that prioritizes safety and well-being. The nipples are also easy to clean and sterilize, making them a practical choice for busy parents. The 4-pack set offers excellent value for money. Having multiple nipples on hand means you can rotate them, ensuring they remain clean and hygienic. This is particularly useful for longer outings or when you're away from home. The nipples are compatible with Philips AVENT Natural baby bottles, making them a perfect fit for your existing bottle collection. Overall, the Philips AVENT Natural Response Baby Bottle Nipples in Flow 3 are a must-have for parents with growing babies. Their natural response design, faster milk flow, and reliable quality make them an ideal choice for a smooth and comfortable feeding experience. I highly recommend the Philips AVENT Natural Response Baby Bottle Nipples for their effectiveness and the convenience they offer during your baby's feeding journey. Note: This review is based on my personal experience with the Philips AVENT Natural Response Baby Bottle Nipples and reflects my honest and unbiased opinion. ... show more

These Philips Avent Natural Response Nipples have been very helpful for feeding. They are easy to clean and simple to switch based on the baby’s age and feeding flow. • Updated review!
Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Flow 3
This is horrible, why does no milk come out? We went from I guess the old version flow 2 tried to up to flow 3 for our baby and after about 5 mins I noticed no change in oz. He was able to finish 3oz in about 8 mins with flow 2 old version, the flow 3 took 20 mins! And to try and find the older version is not existence!! I’m so sad we just invested in the glass bottles and idk what to do if this is the new nipples because my baby isn’t barely getting anything!!! Super bad!!! Avent bring back the old design and fire whoever decided this new version is better because they obviously didn’t test it out on babies!!! Update: we ordered the old style nipple for size 2 off of the avent website which was working great but started collapsing, we gave the size 3 new version a try again (at 4 months) and it actually went really well, he slowed down his feeding and the spit up is super minimal now because he takes a little longer to drink (about 10-15 minutes for 4/5oz of milk) I would recommend waiting till baby is a little older to try the size 3 ones and has a good latch/suction (signs like collapsing previous nipple) ... show more

  • Know your flow size!
Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Flow 3
Know your flow! My son is 3 months old. We have been using the flow size 2 nipples since birth but I noticed he wasn’t really drinking anymore than 2 and a half, maybe 3 ounces—even at 3 months when I feel like he should be drinking at least 4 or 5 ounces. As a first time mom, I will admit I was unaware of the different size nipples that Philips Avent offers so my baby was probably working really hard to get the milk out and would just get tired which explained why he wasn’t drinking more. I was looking at the Philips Avent Nipple Flow Size Chart and age recommendations. They recommend using flow size 4 for babies 3 months and older so I skipped the flow size 3 and purchased the flow size 4 since my baby is just over 3 months. Well, that was a bad idea. I changed the nipples in his bottle (which was super easy to do!) and gave it to him, but the flow was far too much for him—milk was getting all over his face and his clothes and he immediately refused the bottle. So I went back and ordered Flow Size 3 which is recommended for babies 1+ month and they worked! My baby is a lot more comfortable with the level of flow that the milk is coming out at, he’s not choking, he’s not making a complete mess, and he’s now drinking 4 ounces because the milk is coming easier without as much jaw work. I really do love these bottles and nipples. I love that they absolutely will not leak unless the baby pulls on the nipple to draw out the liquid. I also haven’t really had any issues with air bubbles creating colic or gas. But it is definitely important to KNOW THE FLOW size your babies need! Dont just go off of the recommendation that Philips makes in their chart. A size 4 may be too much for your 3 month old and, like in my case, they need to develop stronger swallow and neck control before using that level of flow. Don’t be afraid to order two sizes to try them out and you can always return the ones that don’t quite work as well for them right now, or you can just save the nipples for when they’re a bit bigger and ready, like we did for our son. ... show more

Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Flow 3
I recently purchased the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple for my infant, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Pros: Natural Response Nipple: The nipple releases milk only when my baby actively drinks, mimicking natural breastfeeding. This feature has made the transition between breast and bottle seamless. Anti-Colic Design: The integrated anti-colic valve effectively reduces air intake, minimizing discomfort and gas for my little one. Easy to Clean: The wide neck and minimal parts make cleaning and assembly straightforward, saving valuable time. Ergonomic Shape: The bottle's design is comfortable to hold for both parents and babies, facilitating a natural feeding experience. Cons: Cap Tightness: Some users have reported that the bottle cap can be difficult to remove. • No-drip is my favorite feature. Confusing/inconsistent flow rating system
Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Flow 3
I recently wrote a review for the Philips Avent Natural bottles. For many reasons. this has become my favorite bottle system. My baby is very comfortable with these nipples, though I delayed using these until he was 8 weeks old because he had a lot of problems with gas and colic as a newborn, so I used the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles instead. After reading more about these Natural bottles, I learned that they have an "anti-colic valve" in the nipple, which is just the little vent hole that the air escapes through. You can hear and see the air (bubbles) moving every time the baby sucks. Do I really think it's as effective as the designated anti-colic bottle? Probably not. I do think my baby swallows significantly more air with these, which I believe has caused trapped air bubbles, which have resulted in a couple incidents of projectile vomiting since switching to these bottles. But we are just more likely to give him a good burp mid-feed. Other than that, he hasn't been noticeably more gassy. These natural flow nipples are definitely my favorite aspect of the Natural bottles. They are no-drip nipples, so they don't flow unless the baby is sucking. This eliminates the need for paced bottle feeding, and you can feed the baby in more positions (but unlike the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, these are not the best for upright feeding, because the nipple will not fill with milk/formula when you get down to the last ounce or so). Baby needs to be reclined to get every last drop. Otherwise, I am a fan of all that, since paced feeding is extra work and my baby would sometimes choke on MAM and Dr. Brown's bottles regardless of the nipple flow. Now I can't stress this enough. Double check what flow level you should be using with Natural Flow nipples based on your baby's age. Follow their cues, of course, to determine if you need to go up or down a flow level, but just be aware that Philips has a totally different flow rating scale between their different bottle systems. This is a major gripe of mine because it did cause me a week of frustration where my baby was not eating well when I transitioned to these bottles, and it took me way too long to figure out that the nipple flow level was the issue. Well, my baby was 9 weeks at the time and using a #2 Natural Flow nipple. I was coming from Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, where flow 2 nipples = 1m+. Well apparently, Natural Flow nipple #2 is only 0m+, so my baby was working way too hard to eat and getting tired/fussy at the bottle before even eating 2 oz. I have since upgraded him to the flow 3 nipples which are suitable for 1m+, and he is eating normally now. Overall very pleased with my baby's feeding experience since switching to these exclusively, but deducting one star for more air and confusing/inconsistent flow rating scale. ... show more
