Phenomenal performance for a somewhat older iPad. Honestly was contemplating getting this one or the 9th or 10th gen. Upon research I concluded that tbe 8th was just as capable at running my online sales and auctions. It runs the app or “whatnot” very very well. It doesn’t get hot. It doesn’t slow down. I’m able to use my Apple Pencil with it. The battery life is far longer than I’d ever expected. It’s durable and very slim and lightweight. The screen is a great size for work, school, and of course watching my shows and movies! The sound is amazing! The volume goes high enough where you’re able to hear it wonderfully and if you imagine what surround sound sounds like on a device… this is a good idea. Has touch sensitivity that you’re able to control and adjust. Very nice for adults, teens, and anyone that isn’t the best at technology because it’s very simple and easy to learn. I also liked how quickly the pages load on the internet. Runs apps fast. I’m glad I saved a LOT by not getting the newer model. Great speed. Great design. Great value. Great quality! ... show more

When I first got the iPad, battery life was at 3%. It took FOREVER to get the iPad to even charge a little bit (I did not use the one in the box, I had my own authentic apple cube, and an Amazon basics lightning cable). Once plugged in, I started the setup process, but had to restart the iPad multiple times as it was not loading on certain screens. Finally, I left it to charge and it probably took close to 30 minutes to get from 3% to 9%. After that however, next time I looked it was at 20%, and was charging much quicker. I also at this time was able to complete setup easier no problem. It's now set up, and it charged to 100%. My one issue still, is typing on it. The keyboard doesn't always pick up what I'm typing, and it may briefly freeze as well. I don't do a lot of typing typically, it's only for all the login stuff for setup. I also bought a screen protector, so could be that too. Overall, seems like a good purchase. Will update if it goes downhill. I did order an apple lightning cable ($15) to charge it with. I’m very happy with this refurbished 8th Gen iPad. The device arrived in excellent, like-new condition with no scratches, and it was shipped with great care. I actually made a mistake and initially ordered the 32GB version, but the return process was seamless, and I was able to swap it for this 128GB model without any trouble. It runs my Ai creative apps smoothly, and I haven't had any problems with charging the battery holds up perfectly. The only minor downside is that the sound occasionally cuts out, which requires a quick restart, but it’s a small price to pay for such a reliable machine at this cost.
