I received a used item. All labels covered in grease and worn off. The end caps came off and revealed how trash and hair have accumulated in the starter.

I needed a starter/generator for a piece of experimental equipment I'm working on, so I thought I would give this one a try. Excellent choice. This S/G is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. Has a standard v-belt pulley. Standard mounting holes. Heavy duty unit. Perfect for my application. Would be good for lots of other applications too. This 12V starter generator works as expected. As good as the OEM parts so good replacement part. Quite heavy so solid build. Easy to replace old with this new one, and has a good warranty. Price is good so no issues at all.
